Or, maybe I'm just going loony. I have an atty that has always given me fits - draws hard, never a lot of vapor, chews up batts, etc. I was about to toss it when I decided to try it on my passthru. First few draws weren't any different, but then it magically started to work. Vaped on it all day at work, and then put it on a batt for the ride home, and it continued to vape fine all the way.

Is it possible that the voltage difference in the passthru somehow "blew" it out and fixed it? Or am I just halucinating...

You don't mention what type of hardware that you are using ... but I would think it would be possible that the P/T runs at a bit higher voltage than the battery that you were using, thereby creating more heat with the P/T. If there was buildup on the atty, it's possible that the battery wasn't able to generate sufficient heat to clear it ... but that the P/T was able to do so.

Weirder things have happened.

In my short experience since July 1, 2010, I am learning to be a little patient with my rigs. I forget who said it, but many have here, that stuff sometimes needs "breaking in." As an example, when I got my first 510, I found that it was best to not tighten the battery to the atty really tight, but find a degree of looseness. THEN, I got vapor and TH where before it was like sucking an air tube (sounded like it as well). I agree about the PTs also, they are neat to vape with!
