So how can learn I about attys?
How do I tell if I have low resistance atomizers or standards?
Is there LR, HR & standard? What about the bridge height? High & low? Does that give two additional different choices? (I understand the mega atty-- it's just larger to accept the mega cart.)
I have several Joye 510 batteries, mega & standard, auto & manual, I'm guessing my attys are all standard. I want to buy extra's but I'm confused about which to get. I've combed through the forum for answers only to be more confused.
Can y'all please help educate me?

I can't provide a link, bought 'em locally in genuine Joye kits. One of the cigar shops was carrying the kits & accessories. I bought my kit there then a month later, they were selling out & I bought 6 white atty's and two spare mega manual batteries at a bargain price of $25.
I can get my hands on a multimeter. Will borrow one from a 'toolman' friend.
I'd still like to know if there is an educational on attys though....
Thanks for your reply. I've been looking daily to see if anyone could help educate me on differences & preferences of use.

wow what a can of worms you're opening up here...
there's standard joye 510, and then the knock offs like SLB 510..

standard joye 510s are 2.2Ω
then there's 1.5Ω and 1.8Ω...these are classified as LR
there's also 4.5Ω and 5.2Ω ..these are classified as HV

then the SLB
the standard are 3.2Ω...
but they make a 2.0Ω that they classify as LR...

now all of them have a tolerance of +/- .3Ω

so they could really range anywhere from 1.2Ω all the way to 5.5Ω
and the LR SLB 510 could meter in the same as the standard joye 510

likely you have either the standard genuine joye...or possibly some knock off (SLBs usually had a washer instead of mesh surrounding the ceramic pot when you look into them)

LR atties are generally for higher mAh batteries (over 450mAh) so it's unlikely any you have are LR... also unlikely any you have are the HV variety because they'd perform weakly on a stock battery

So is there a "do & don't" list for HV or LR's ?
Geez--
Maybe it's a waste of time to try to learn with the onset of super cartomizers on the horizon.
I really love my 510's. I don't mind toting half a dozen 'ready' spares around in my purse to replace exhausted carts & batteries.
Got a pt at home that I got off the classified here, and was thinking that I might need a different atty than what I use on the batteries?
Your right Drozd... it's a can of worms. Never-the-less I had to ask since the only stupid question is the one not asked:)

not so much a do's and don't list as it starts to get technical...

the LR atties on a standard stock battery have a way higher amp draw and will knock the time the battery lasts down rediculously...

the HV atties on a stock battery just won't produce the heat to vaporize the juice that well and if it did it would be some weak, cold vapor...they were brought out to say vape at 6V or 7.4V and make it like 5V...

the LR atties came out to take 3.7V and make it seem like 5V without having to stack batteries or go to larger mods...
