I have never used a carto but i'm wondering if i need to try some, I have an eGo and I drip with a debridged reg 510. I have some LR 510's but I think I prefer the reg ones with TV juices because the flavor is better. I do, however find myself cleaning my atty's a lot, like daily. It's not a big deal at all but I'm wondering if cartomizers would be problematic in that respect as I have heard that they are hard to clean. Thoughts anyone?

I haven't used an atty since I discovered cartos. I buy them in bulk from china at about a buck a piece. You use it a few days and then toss it. Atties are too much maintenance. I personally think the flavor is better with a carto. Just my opinion.

I just got my first package of cartomizers a couple of days ago. Seeing as this is my second go round with vapeing I decided to get away from cartridges. I must say that I am glad to have found them for their simplicity, but the set I have are the r4 e2 510's and the wicking issue is horrible. Along with inconsistent taste I just don't know how I feel. I may just stick with dripping because I can't afford to hunt down the cartomizer that works for me.

Can anybody suggest the best carto to use with Tastyfinger, on kr808? Tried the new maxx fusion blanks and the flavor almost instantly carmelized on the atty coil and ruined it. Also tried Wow blanks from V4L and they run a bit too hot, so you get great flavor, initially, but it burns too quickly and flavor degrades with each successive puff. The only cartos I have that don't burn or cause black gunk to immediately corrode the atty wire are Coolcart blanks from V4L. Only problem with them is that they are such high resistance, the wonderful flavor that I'm used to with this juice just isn't there:( Very frustrating because I LOVE this flavor!!

i think you will find that no carto works very well with dark liquids like tasty finger.

Ugg:( I was afraid of that! I've never used an atty/cart combo and have absolutely no idea where to start and the thought of another long, and frustrating learning curve is depressing:(
maybe i should have been more specific.
you can still use cartos with tastyfinger/dark liquids....its just that you will not get many refills out of them...maybe 3 before you get a funky taste.

Don't know squat about TV juice, sorry I DIY my own juice. But, I've been vapin the same R5 XL Clearo for neigh onto two weeks. I find it much improved over the E2 R4 XL's. Differences I've noticed: 1) improved wicking, (aided by horizontal or Batt high attitude); 2) Clearo doesn't get as hot, (possibly due to it being plastic rather than metal alloy); and 3) it appears to be a juice hog, (possibly I like it that much better that I'm vaping alot more). R4's I vaped 2 XL carto's worth a day. R5 XL's I vape well into the third fill. Mine are R5 Clear XL's, 2.6~2.8 ohms. Used on eGo class Batts, and ProVari. I've been a vapin and a fillin one for neigh onto two weeks. All this is JMHO.

Cheers,
otrpu

try boge 2 Ω cartos. Works great, just pop off the soft tip and drip in about 30 drops (holding it at an angle to drip onto the filler and not down the tube) let it soak in then refill with 5-10 drops whenever the flavor drops off. one thing i've noticed, the hits are best in the last 1/3 of the fill, right before they need refilling, so while i recommend you fully soak them to begin with, refills work best for me when i only go for about a half fill.

YMMV...
