Anyone know how customs works?

If they open a package and don't like part of it what do they do?
Send it back? Remove the offending item and send the rest on? Bin the whole package?

I'm a bit concerned about the TGA's attitude to nicotine products.

Would it be best to separate hardware and e-liquid into different packages?

ive never had a problem with customs even opening any packages and ive ordered a lot in my short time vaping, ive combines juices and hardware and had them single, packages from America and china and all have been good, hardest thing to get used to is the LONG postage times

i was just recently there, and saw quite a few people coming in from bali getting any and all wood products confiscated at syndey customs. the customs was pretty thorough, and didnt let much slip by, but a plus was the ultra cute short chick working the dogs... i think i fell in love a little bit...hahaha

Iv seen someone post stating that its illegal to buy or sell nic juice there but its perfectly legal to have it imported so if what they said is correct you should be good.

Hi mattrix,
Seems to depend which state you are in, although there are a number of Aussie vapers here (and on the Aussie vapers forum) who import nicotine ejuice for personal use without problems. I think it best to separate them into different packages anyway. I'm in New Zealand and find ejuice can take longer to clear customs sometimes.

My question was not so much whether they would stop it, but what they would do if they did.

well if they are anything like the ...... customs here (usa) they will keep the whole package. so just order your nic as a whole different transaction so it has its own package to avoid that.
