Sometimes blowing into the battery end will reset it. You can try and see. I'd go ahead and clean off the threads too and stick a pin in the little holes, just as a precaution.

My DH fiddles with any of my batteries acting up, so don't have too much firsthand info.

I do know that if it keeps acting up, V4L will replace it, just make comment on your next order and they will take care of it.

Hey everyone, I'm having a problem with my single logo auto battery that is a month and few days old. This just started yesterday. It usually doesn't turn on for me to inhale, and when it does decide to turn on, it dosen't turn off until the cutoff limit.

Can it be cleaned somehow, or fixed, or do I need another?

Thanks

There's a 99.9% chance liquid has leaked down inside the switch, making it sticky.

The following method may (or may not) fix it.

Pour about 1/4" of alcohol into a glass & stand your battery on end in that for about 30 minutes. PGA (Everclear) or vodka is my recommendation, but some have used regular isopropyl alcohol with good results.

After 30 minutes, remove the battery and shake it out very well & dry off everything you can. Let it dry before using it, especially if you used isopropyl alcohol.

Thanks for the suggestions, I tired blowing in the other end already, didn't work. Then I made sure the little holes were clear, they were. I scraped around a bit inside the main hole, still didn't work.

So I didn't use it for two days. Then as I'm reading the suggestions I decide to try it, and it works fine now! I bet it was juice making it stick though.

On other battery question though. Are all of the new model batteries for sale yet? And how do I tell the difference on the site?

I think they should all be new now, whether it says it or not.
Also, if you have an automatic battery, be careful with the centerpost hole, something can get in there and mess up the computer.
