auto log-out

Every now & then while trying to post or reply,by the time i hit submit post,I am redirected to the home page as a guest.I guess I timed out because I'm a hunt&peck typer.Can the logged on time be extended,or is my computerwith me,and there ain't no time limits?

I'm not sure about this forum's time-out limit, but on another forum I belong to it's kind of short. One way around it is to finish typing your post, then copy it before you hit the submit button. If you're timed out, you can just go back in and paste it into a new post.

I believe as long as you check the "remember me" box when logging in you will not be auto logged off. I haven't been auto logged off in over 18 months.

When you log in, do you check the "remember me" box?

On my home computer, I'm never auto logged out. On my at work PC, I am timed out ... just the way I like it.
