Automatic Batteries and Sound

I prefer auto bats - no button to push so they feel more like smoking an analog. I have heard the activate with loud sounds, but since I am rarely anyplace noisy, I have never noticed this.

Well, somebody came to the door and my dog barked (this is the only time he ever barks) and all three Blucigs on my coffee table lit up at once. 8-o It was funny and I thought I'd share.

I really like my automatic Evos. I'd never had a problem with them, so I never even thought of it. We had to take an older pickup to my son's, 4 hour drive. By the time we got there all 4 of my Evo batteries were dead!! We may have had the radio cranked a bit Luckily I had my passthru with me so I could 'plug in'.

Whoa! No Way! No wonder my batts die out so quick! I work in a utility plant. Noisy is putting it mildly. Thanks for the clue.

So I'm afraid of auto batteries, had mine go off in my pocket while waiting for the F train. Also nobody seems to question me when i whip out a black lazer-pointer looking thingy versus a white barreled red light tipped pv. But hey I kinda like being stopped and asked why im smoking, it may lead to another convert

Not all auto batteries do that. It depends on the kind of sensor used.
