I don't know about the 'glitch' but just wanted to tell ya that I kinda enjoy seeing your new sexy wallpapers every time I get on here.

which might be a good while but when it happens the error message received when trying to edit avatar is:
"unable to save image"
cookies cleared, logged out and back in, restarted, tried ff and ie

Ever since the site when down Im unable to save any avatar of any size. Error read either Unable to save or
Remote file is too large. No matter what I use whether its a avatar I had before the site went down or old avatars from the past or anything at all. Nothining works

we are all in the same boat but i'm sure atm avatar problems are at the back of the to-do list. we'll just have to be patient .....
I guess we can still honor our ECF Vets on the thread even if we can't via our avis.
Whiskey, if this works for ya, you've really gotta WOW me with some good pics. When I had my problem, I clicked on Internet options, then "delete" under browsing history, and then put a checkmark on all 6 options EXCEPT passwords, then delete, then ok. Hope it works for ya.

unfortunately, clearing cookies won't help - i tried. there are quite a few of us with this avatar problem. i'm sure it will get fixed given time.

tiburon...it's not just cookies, that's the thing. It's all that stuff. That's why I said "all 6 EXCEPT passwords". and then don't forget to restart. Hope it works for ya.

edit:i'm dressed now thanks to some help, i cleared the catch again(which,duh!, was just said above
). it will say "upload failed" still, but, as long as no other error messages come up, you're good
