Just guessing, but I assume you want a delivery system that doesn't leak, (carto, tank, clearamizer, ect.) I don't know how much your wife vapes, but the Boge XL 510's hold somewhere around 1.7 mls of juice, and they are just about as leak proof as it gets. They come in 2.0 ohm and 3.0 ohm, pretty good choice for away when you are out and about, you can carry a small bottle of juice if you vape a lot for topping them off. Others may have suggestions you like better.

AN APV is a battery holder and has nothing to do with leaking at all. That has to do with the juice delivery device that you put on the APV.

I personally would not trust clearomizers or clearotanks (vivi nova, T2 or T3) from past experience because of their cheap and fragile build.

Cartomizers or quality cartotanks will not leak with proper common sense handling. Locking cartotanks are not a necessity, and judging from the forum posts on these many owners are having flooding issues with them. Just learn to handle the APV from the battery end, and not by the tank.

I'd recommend a pyrex or metal cartotank from either IBTanked, Phiniac, or Big Daddy Vapor.

In my experience the big thing to stay away from is the Ce2's (do people still use these?) and stardust type. For a purse I think one of the mega carts with a tight drip tip would be best.

Also, for cartotanks...I haven't had an IB tanked but phiniacs are notoriously tight and durable, would do well on purse duty.

Thank you. I have written several articles for beginning vapors concerning cartomizers and cartotank setup, juice delivery devices, vendors that sell pre-punched cartomizers for tanks, etc. Find them in my blog by clicking the link under that sick avatar.

Thanks for reply, can you use a tank on one and which one won't leak from my wife tossing it in her purse  I have an Omicron with SS tank but I gave it to her this morning and she had it upside down in her purse
You can always grab something like an ego case to help protect her vapeware. While at work I use a simple glasses hard case. Holds my pv, mini nova, and a bottle of juice if I choose to bring one.

Helps with unwanted scratches or breakages.

The IBtanked + cartos setup Baditude recommend is a solid one. I EDC the same setup 19mm IBTank + XL Boge cartos. For power source, you can use anything from eGo twist to Provari to whatever else your wife fancies.

Start here: https://www.ibtanked.com/kits/complete-tanks/19mm-clear-tank-detail
Standard length for Standard length cartos (35mm not including 510 connection)
XL for XL cartos (45mm not including 510 connection)

The kanger t3 doesn't leak, sturdy made but it's plastic But its cheap too. Can be problematic for chain vapers and a little touchy with juice thickness. Not too thin and not too thick works best. Pyrex is all ill use anymore but throwing I in purse is the only time I've broken one to date. If they have a cover with a window for Pyrex I'd buy it! Do they?

You could always do the stick battery and carto route. Got me off of the coffin nails though I have obviously moved on. Smokeless Image sells a nice kit for 65 bucks that comes two batteries, 5 carts you can refill and a PCC.

Smokeless Image | The Best Electronic Cigarette

I know it's not the most popular (even frowned upon) but if you go 18mg or 24mg, it'll hit you with the nick you need, store easily and no leakage issues. I still keep a stick bat and cart setup around, never know when you will need it.
