AVSv3 part question

Is there a way to get one of the original 901 plugs to work inside the AVS v3 so I can use a 901 instead of a 510. I do not want to use a 510->901 adapter. Did the original AVS/AFS have that plug that comes for the 901? 510 attys are not doing it for me. I am more of an 801 person and I think the 901 is closer to that than a 510. At the present moment the AVSv3 is not working how I would like it. Not mechanically but taste and style wise. I tried doing what someone else did and use a ikenvape mini 801 but that is not working well either. The system seems to work perfectly at 6v but the vapor is too warm for me and at 3.7 I am not getting the results I would like so I would like to go the 901 route.

I just found out that the 510 adapter can hold an 801 on the outside of it from another post. What would you suggest to put inside of that plug for the positive lead of an 801 atty? I think your adapter are ingenuous btw. I love the fact that the same bolt can hold the 510 on the inside and an 801 on the outside.
The post I saw earlier said to use the spring from the side button of the ggts/ggtb but I do not have this spring on me. Could you think of anything else that might work?

I have a spool of stainless steel lashing wire that would work good too

I tried using a spring from the button out of a car charger but for some reason it is not working. Believe me I am trying to come up with something. I would love to get an 801 to work in the AFS



Edit -- Good call on the pen spring. Decided to try it out and it is working and better than the other one I tried. The pen spring is staying centered. I would hate to have a short.

It would seem to at the moment. I have not tested it with filling the tank yet. I just wanted to make sure the atty was going to actually work hooked up first and it is doing that fine. I will test further, later today when I get home from work when I have time to play with it.
