I am not sure but isn't the 2000 mAh supposed to be a better battery? I have both and am finding that the 2000 mAh are lasting half the time of my 1600 mAh. I use a provari at the same volts and my 1600 last most of the day (6-9 hours) and my 2000 mAh are only lasting 2-4 hours. Is anyone else having this problem? Also since the 2000 is a little bigger it isn't fitting well is some of my mods.

Any advice to get a longer life cycle out of the 2000 mAh or is this supposed to last less time between charges? By the way I did a timed apples to apples comparison of both batteries, that is how I realized my 2 2000 mAh are dying quicker then my 2 1600 mAh.

randy is super. i'd give him a shout. i have no idea who made the provape batteries but maybe some cells are not working right or something. i think provape just replaced their batteries with those aw 2000mah. so, i don't know what to think about yours

Does ur guys 1600 mah 18650 have the actual + & - symbols written in the red battery covering along w/ the other info? If not those are OLD aw 18650 batteries from my flash light days. Those are actual sought after batteries for flashlights because the real old versions aren't high drain from what I was told. I'm not so sure a non high drain battery is good for variable voltage mod that pulls 5-6 volts from a single 3.7 volt battery, but I don't know. All I know is the old school AW red 18650 batteries WITHOUT the + & - may say 1600mah but ppl I knew said they were the best, longest lasting battery. Better than yes newer 1600mah & 2000mah 18650s. FYI they should all be the same size though

My load testing of the 1600mAh, did show it holds higher voltage under load then the 2000mah. The Provari at higher voltages is putting larger amperage loads on the batteries, so it is possible the 1600mah may last longer at higher amperages.

I've found this to be true with the 2600mah AW Protected vs the 2900mah and 3100mah. Yes, they have a higher mah, but what testing reveals is that it is unusable mAh all down at very low amperages. The 2600mah outperforms the 2900 and 3100 in both its useable mAh and ability to hold higher voltage under load.

Heres the AW IMR 18650 1600mAh vs the AW IMR 18650 2000mah:

That makes sense to me & the charts are good proof. All the batts were charged full & have the same amount of usage/age. It's splitting hairs I'd think anyway. I'd say the 2000 mah going dead so quick is abnormal unless the 1 being compared is a non high drain if it does exsist.

Jacq,

I am having issues with the 2000maH batteries I purchased from Pro Vape on my Pro Vari. They last me about 4-5 hours and the older 1600 last all day long. I bought 7 or 8 of the 2000 maH and I am not happy. I am in contact with Pro Vape as I write this and they have claimed you have to charge them several times, check the charger, different people different atomizers, etc. I have used the same atomizer HH357 at 2.5 ohms and the same voltage 4.4 Volts. Something is not right here. Lets figure this out. Keep posting with any findings.
