I recently bought four of these protected 2600 mAh 18650's from AW over on the candlepower forums, and I'm pleased far beyond my experience with Ultrafire 3000 mAh 18650's.

Freshly charged and unloaded, they put out 4.15 V.

Loaded at 2 ohms, they put out 3.94 V initially, so these batteries can handle higher currents well. My wife notices the difference too.

This represents 7.76 watts initial in the case of a 2 ohm LR atty.

Delivery from Hong Kong took about a week.

DVap recommended. :toast:

What are you running them in? I was going to take a break from modding for a while and enjoy my 6V Magnum mod for a while but I just got 3 18650's free due to a shipping mix up while trying to get extra CR2's. Now I have to buy a charger, figure out what mod to make for these, and probably buy some LR attys.

Come to think of it, I got my first set of CR2's due to another shipping mix up and had to make a mod and buy a charger for that too. hhmmmmm ... free batteries end up costing me a lot of money.

I keep trying to get out and they keep dragging me back in!!!

AW batteries definitely turned out to be worth the premium. Better high-load performance, more charging cycles before they fade, better shelf life. I'm not using cylindrical batteries for my mods anymore (I'm all about the Li-Poly flatpacks now), but the only cylindrical based model I don't use AW for is my C-Cell sized "Hand Grenade" model (AW doesn't make a 25500).
