Up until several weeks ago, I got all my batteries from RTD. Great service, super fast shipping, great PA small business.
I tried another well known, reputable vendor (I won't list, but they generally cater to the flashlight world) because they had a better sale price on the battery I wanted to try. BIG MISTAKE! Wrong batteries were sent (flat tops when I ordered buttons). They quickly resolved, although I had to pay return shipping. But the batteries they sent were terrible, they were LGs so they should have been fine. I had tons of problems with them. NEVER again! I've place two more orders(I think) with RTD since then and I won't look back!

Randy, do you have any info on the LG HG2s being discontinued? And anything on the rumored LG HG6 as its replacement?

Hi RuDawg! Thank you for your business!! There is nothing wrong with shopping around for the best price. I try to keep our prices in check but I tend to focus on the customer service and loose track of the price war lol.

I am sorry you had to pay to return those batteries. I am a little baffled by that!

The last word I received on the HG2 was that I could not order anymore until next year. I will check on the HG6 tonight! I do know that a new Sony battery will be available soon.

You're welcome!
Yeah I was confused! But I didn't complain in good faith. Actually, now that I think of it, they did send me a prepaid return label, but it wasn't enough to cover the weight. So I just paid the extra since I was already at the PO.
I suspect there was something wrong with the button tops themselves. They would arc like crazy in my REO, to the point were I fried one too, and melt the reo's push button into the contact!! I just rid of them.
The HG2's I've received from you have been amazing. They stay above 3.7v longer than any other battery I've tried. Hope the HG6's are even better!
New Sony sounds interesting. The VTC4s were great, but I stopped buying them when I heard Sony stopped making them.
Damn, I just realized I didn't order more of those luer lock bottles you sell with my last order, those bottles are great!!

@VW18T /"Randy" . . .

Being a first time customer of "RTDVapor", I just want to publically say -
boy-thank-you-smiley-emoticon.gif
- for the great customer service that "You" provided and especially for rectifying what could have been a major problem for "Me" with the "AW ICR 123 16340 PROTECTED" (Black) batteries being out of spec for the Billet Box right now . . . I really do appreciate that "You" were willing to exchanged them for the "AW IMR 16340 3.7v 550mAh" (Red) batteries instead - which has been suggested by the Billet Box manufacter that will work with the Billet Box . . . I surely will be a returning customer, particularly given "Your" attention to the products "You" sell and the customer service "You" Provide - "KUDOS" . . .

Randy, I've been buying my batteries solely from you for years now. Always AW IMRs and VTCs as those are the brands I trust and I know they're always legit coming from you. I haven't bought batteries for a while though - is the VTC shortage over? I've solely been using mechanical mods and Reos for a few years and am buying my first TC/high wattage box mod. Would the VTC5s be the way to go or are one of these new-fangled LG or Samsung batteries the way to go now?

Thanks for the years of excellent service!

Hi Dave! Thank you very much for your business over the years!! :)
We have not had any problems getting the Sony VTC batteries for a while now. I usually recommend the LG HG2 or AW IMR 3000mAh if you are staying under 80 watts. Depends on your set up. For high wattage the Sony VTC4 is good.

Randy, wazzup with the RTDElectronix web site? I see the name is starting to get passed around on ECF, but you haven't "officially" claimed it here yet.

Is this a "move in progress" in reaction to the deeming regulations? Will RTDVapor customers need to create a new account on the other web site at some point?

Hi Rickajho! I opened the RTD Electronix website in February of this year. At the time, my only reason for opening that store was to comply with the ECF supplier rules(I had flashlights for sale on the vapor store). Since the Electronix site is not related to ecigs, I did not see it fit to officially claim it here.

In reference to the recent FDA regulations, I do not have any plans to make changes unless I absolutely have to. I have been vaping since 2010 and wouldn't have stayed smoke free without ECF! With my business, I love helping fellow vapers purchase the right batteries and chargers for their mods. Right now I am also focused on supporting those who are fighting to keep this industry open and alive!!!

Appreciate your speaking out on what is going on. Ironically, I think the very reason RTDElectronix is getting brought up is the absurdity of the regulations and what may be required in the future to deal with the FDA definition of "intent" of use and all that err... "stuff".

Several of us have already purchased flashlight heads with a 510 connector - just because we can. Not out of paranoia, more so to mock the point of the FDA's use of the word "intent" in an over reach to grab at anything and everything "intended" to be a "tobacco product."

Still murky waters ahead. Just some people were already positing that RTDEeletronix was your attempt to see into the regulatory future. Carry on.

Hi Randy, I was wondering if there is any plan to restock the AW 14500 650 mAh batteries, I wanted to buy 4, but I saw there is only one in stock :(

Need me some of those too!

Hi Ariel and Rick!
I just checked inventory and there are 7pcs now available for purchase. We have more of the AW 14500 coming in next week.

Randy
