Of all the batteries for mods, I like the AW IMR 16340 the best and I've heard they are the best available. I'm looking to buy a mod that uses either 10440 or 14500 batteries. I really like the spade but I don't see any IMR AW 10440 batteries available anywhere. The most similar battery I've found is the IMR High Drain 10440 350mAh 3.7v which are blue.

Are these as safe as the AW IMR 16340 (red) batteries and do they offer the same performance just with less mAh?

Look for LiMn in the description. It is a battery that uses lithium manganese oxide. It's the same "safe" chemistry compound used in aw imr batteries
