AW IMR 14500 Li-Ion Battery

I have found a few sites with the battery available but really would like to know if there is anyone that can point me to a reputable site to buy from. I would like to get a dependable charger as well. I have read that these batteries are chem safe. What does that mean exactly?

Lighthound, oveready, supertmanufacturing, and cloudsofvapor are just some of the reputable suppliers. As for a charger, I would recommend the PILA - it is more expensive than others, but is highly regarded and will charge your batteries at least twice as fast as some of the cheaper chargers such as the TR-001.

What other good 14500 battery could I use besides the AW IMR 14500? I can not find ANY of these batteries in stock anywhere. I would be using an LR atty and or cartomizer so looking for the high drain.
Please help I am getting a bottom feeder soon and need some quality batteries I can trust.

I'm not exactly sure what an "AW IMR 14500 " battery is but when I googled it I noticed that some sites say that it is an Unprotected battery.

Is there some reason you want these verses something like a Protected 14500 Trustfire or Surefire?

I got mine from VaporKings and they're in stock. They're good batt's.

I'm not entirely certain but I think chem safe means they don't emit explosive gasses when charging or discharging. Li-ion batt's they produce hydrogen when they are over or under charged. Add a spark from a contact in your switch and ..........

AW IMR 14500 Li-Mn are chem safe. They wont explode and are the best money can buy for 14500 batts from what I have read and researched. Thanks all for the info on the sites. I have ordered them and a charger!
