Hello,

I wanna order some new batteries and i have to decide between AW ICR123/16340 Protected 3.7V 750mAh and AW IMR 18350 3.7V 700mAh.
The mod i am using is The Megalodon SS.

Until now i've used AW IMR but considering the non-protected mod and battery (i know...AW IMR is safe chemistry) i would feel much better to buy some AW ICR.

So, will i feel any difference between the two considering it's a mechanical mod and i'm using a 1.6ohm atomizer?

Regards,

Not a good combo if your are concerned about safety per ECF guidelines.

Figuring 2C as a max discharge rate the ICR comes in at 1.5A, your 1.6Ω atty will want to pull over 2A.

In other words you asking the ICR to exceed the manufacturer's rating.

Ok...i'll stick with the AW IMR.

Another question: what would happen if i'll put my battery with the + pole upside down inside the Don?
Can anything go wrong since it's a mechanical mod?

You'll want to keep it up, as putting it down makes the outer case become positively charged so esentially you are exposing the "hot" wire. With it up, the case is just the ground, not the hot wire.
