I'm sure someone more qualified will jump in on this, but I'll take a crack at it. For myself, I use it for around a day, or until I feel a difference from "normal" or acceptable vaping quality. Some people think that you don't want to completely discharge the battery, to extend the lifetime of them.

You will notice a difference from that fresh battery "feel", and the feeling after it has been used for a while. My advise is to go with your preference to when it is time to recharge.

It varies a bit from user to user, but you didnt say what device your using, and that makes some difference, I use a Silver Bullet and AW18650s they may last for 2 days or so..or a day if Im power vaping...when it dont fire no more it needs charging...If its still firing after a couple days I will switch it out and put on a charger anyways..

I agree with both crazy canuck and tybin.

I have the same type of battery as you mv and before I got myself a multimeter I figured out when it was due for a recharge based on the lower vapor production. I just got a cheap multimeter on ebay (for like $8) and it works just fine. Now that I can test my batteries my hunches were right all along. Anything below 3.6-3.7 its time for a recharge.

I agree with everyone above. I bought a "stupid proof" one from Radio Shack. Only has 3 settings. One to check voltages, one to check resistance, and one to check current. Can get easier than that. Pricier than everyone else's but I'm electronically handicapped. $30

Don't feel bad, I'm about to get my mom a Jitterbug cell phone. She keeps accidently changing the settings on hers.

Flat tops actually fire fine without a magnet ... just a longer throw.
I like the way they fire with a flat top in there.

But the batts them self are way too long for the spring to collapse if need be.

If you wan't a little more mAh in a Grand the Black AW 2200 mah button top are the next shortest one.
They leave a little space for the spring. I still rotate 4 of these in my grand every day.
