Aw or efest for 18500

I'm kind of new to the mech mod side of vapeing and I have a battery question. I have found that the 18500 size seems to be perfect for me so now it's time to get some 18500 batteries. There are 2 shops near me, one sells AWs, the other efests. Does it really matter which battery I use? The lowest I build my Kayfuns to is 1.0 - 1.4 ohms. If I remember correctly, the AW is a few dollars more, which is pretty much a mute point. I'm more than willing to pay a few bucks for higher quality.

I do have a dripper built to 0.7 ohm, but I only run that one with 18650s.

The AW 18490 IMR 1100mAh battery is a much better battery. Andrew Wan (AW) has listed this battery with having a 15C amp rating, which works out to be a 16.5 amp continuous discharge rate. IMR16340 / IMR14500 / IMR18350 / IMR18490 / IMR18650 / IMR26500 *Part 2*

The Efest 18490 IMR 1100mah has only an 8.8 amp continuous discharge rating.

how comes ive seen aw 18490 listed as 8.8amps? Reason i ask is that ive seen people report that they are mixed (the aw 18490) between 8.8amp and 16.5amp so im not sure which one i have

as of today if I was to buy batteries with discharge rate (amps) being the number one factor along with quality I'd go this way:

18350 efest purple 10.5amp 700mah
18490 AW IMR 16.5 amp 1100mah
18650 Sony VTC5 30 amp 2600mah

The 26650 size I'd probably go mnke rather than Sony's even though they are only 20amp because they are 4000mah compared to the 50 amp Sony's only having 2600mah.

From my research and readings, Efest has been known to over-state their mAh specifications to make their batteries look superior to AW. Bench tests and my personal experience generally shows the AW to be superior during practical use. My

I, too, prefer the AWs. The Efests I've had in the past just don't seem to cut the mustard as far as longetivity is concerned. And by longetivity, I mean the total overall life of the battery. They just seem to die a lot faster than the better brands.
