Do away with this. This is just dumb. I have been in lots of other forums and have never come accross something so useless.

It has its reasons. It encourages users to post something more than "Yes", "I agree", etc. There are ways around it, say by adding spaces between the last character of the word and the punctuation. The forum only shows one space when you do this too. Or you can add extra characters in white text like NCC did.
He's so sneaky. Too bad that doesn't work for folks using the black forum skins.
How about 100? I mean, if people are going to say something, they might as well be eloquent.
