B-D 3ml Syringe tubes for CE2's

Got some CE2-X XL's, and when one of the tubes cracked, i did what I did last time with my old CE2's.

Went up to the drug store and got some:

B-D 3ml 25g1 (0.5mm x 25mm)

However, these, do NOT fit like the Previous 3ml Syringes i got a few weeks ago.
Put one on my CE2-X XL, and I thought it felt alittle loose, and sure enough, i was right.
Woke up and juice everywhere.

So, first thing I did was take one of my old CE2 rev 2s, that had the replacement tubes on it, took it off
and tested to see if the CE2-X changed their size... they had not! The OLD Syringe tube fit very snug.

So, I am alittle confused.

Did B-D change the I/D their 3ml syringe? Or did I just not get the exact type that I need?

nsm... bad news on the tube. I've been using BDs on both the 3 and 5ml syringe mods and haven't run into that. I haven't been using the 3ml for the last 2 or 3 months though. I’ve always liked the BDs because they are so tight.

You weren’t using the CE2’s that come in the Clearomizers were you? They don’t have a carto tube (the steel casing) around the bottom of the CE2. The ones that are modded for the syringe mod have the tube cut off above the connector so are just that much bigger around. The clearomizer wouldn’t have that smooth casing it would just have the rough edges of the press on fitting. That would definitely make it loose.

I am talking about the Clearomizers, maybe it was a month ago now, i got BD's to replace the cheap plastic tubes of the Clearomizers. And they worked great.

The BD Syringes I got this time, arn't the same. The Numbers and writing on the tube are different, the I/D is slightly different, and no where near as tight on the base of the Clearomizer CE2's.

Strange... I've gotten the 3mls from 3 different sources (about 3 mo. Back), but the syringes are identical. The only difference was the local ones, from CVS, had a needle.

Something to try… Take some Teflon Tape (plumber’s tape) and give the bottom fitting a couple of wraps. See if that tightens it up enough.

OK, so new guy asking a dumb question. But by individual syringes are now available on the site, that would be which site?? I want to try this for my next attempt at a mod, but don't need 100!!! Thanks in advance for pointing me in the right direction!!

If you just need a couple get them local. You don't have to wait and you'll save on shipping even if you can find individuals on the net. I got mine at CVS but it's been a while, they're reusable so I haven't had a need to get any more, I can't comment on the ops issue saying his new ones are different.

Yeah, I tried locally here. The closest thing we have to a CVS around here is Walgreens, and the guy looked at me like I was dumb. They only had one choice for syringe size and it was way to large of an OD/ID to work. I'll have to keep hunting (I only need 3 of them) so the 100 pk deals aren't worth the time! Thanks for the info though!

I suspect they're just happy to be selling more of them!

The other explanation may be that the syringe with the needle attached might be an insulin syringe (it sounds that way by the description). they are for units of insulin, not ml of liquid, and may have a different interior diameter because of that.

I got mine for Walmart pharmacy. BD 3cc with no needle on them, luer lock tip. They were $.40/ea they fit the clearomizers nice and tight. I've also put some on clear dual coil cartos.

Are the syringes on the shelf or do you have to ask the pharmacist for them?

So to clarify, they are in the pharmacy, and you have to ask. I went on a 2 hour hunt, and finally found them!! Walmart was out, and he sent me to the Walgreens I had been at the day before. Sure enough, just had to fill out some paperwork and off I was!!! Now... to having some fun fixing these .......s!!!

I had to ask the pharmacist, no paperwork. Might be different if you get needles with them.

best bet: hand your pharmacist your e-cig. i took my ego with a ce2 xl full of juice & ready to vape into walgreens, handed it to the pharmacist, and said i needed "maybe 5 B-D 3 ml syringes, whatever they are, without needles to replace the clear casing part". he was intrigued, took my e-cig with him to the back area, reappeared with the packages of syringes, opened & needles removed, & gave me 5 for like 50 cents total.
