My wife and I went to the Emeral Queen Casino along with a few thousand others last night to see Blue Öyster Cult.
Hard to believe they still POUND out the music like they do after the first album back in 72.
We were simply amazed at the ride they took us on, several hours of gut wrenching, heart pounding, base kicking your chest back to your spine musical goodness..mmm.
4th row seats did not hurt a bit either (except for the nearly bleeding ears perhaps, they went to 11 hehe).
They really put on a great show of classic old school stuff. Not just the tunes but the way they break into Mega solo's, and interact with the crowd, weaving thier history and current events into things etc. Color me impressed! (I am Stuffed with tassty riffs)
If they play near you Do go see them if you like older rock at all.
I almost forgot to mention while walking all through the HUGE casino and during the concert we were happily vap'n away on our 510's, got many looks but no questions.
