B-Sides... short reviews of some underpraised juices

You know, those underestimated… possibly overlooked gems…
I started doing this for myself and then decided that I’d share… because perhaps you could list some quality juices you think slipped other people’s radar.

I will try to write something in the descriptions that give the reader a clue as to whether they might like this flavor as well.

The reader should know that I prefer lighter flavor… and I chain vape 8-12mgs on an LR 306/510 – cannon drip tip when possible.

1. I will start with BWB because I have tried every BWB to date except menthol… and my favorite BWB’s seem to rotate… One BWB juice you haven’t heard a lot about lately that I absolutely love is watermelon tobacco… melonbacco… I asked Don to make it last summer and he was kind enough to oblige… It’s a lot like applewood, but with double the twang and throat hit.

• One more BWB… hiding in plain sight – Maple Tobacco… It is not a Mapley flavor top me at all… Instead, it’s a robust tobacco vape with a brown sugar/ maple sugar exhale. This juice truly needs a brand new or virgin atty to shine. I have had it in my bwb collection for several months and it wasn’t until I used it on a brand new cisco 306 that I got the amazing flavor that I had hoped for.

• Grapes of Wrath – from Happy Smokes… I touted this one about 3-4 months ago and I haven’t heard anything about it lately… have you folks tried it? It is a masterpiece as far as I am concerned… It tastes like a sweet red wine to me… all of Happy Smokes custom juices are terrific. Death juice is remarkably harsh.

• Captain Jack by Vapors etc… - I ordered thirty mls of this… It’s a very clean, well constructed liquid… complex flavor… Tobacco and something “island” coming through in the vaguest way. (Coconut? Rum? Fruit?) I recommend ordering it with the flavor boost if you enjoy flavor… I think BWB and Vaperite fans would like this one a lot because the flavor isn’t overdone. For me, it’s easy to vape Captain Jack all day.

• Real Tabs by Totally Wicked – A good earthy tobacco flavor… not like anything else I have tasted… TW has so many juices… so many good juices… and I think it’s easy to overlook some… if you like tobacco vapes, try this one… even vapstein and Dspin approved this one and they are pretty discriminating with Tobacco vapes. Real Tabs is great with menthol crystals in it as well.

• Ripple Effect by Vape Safe… surely not a B-side… it just hasn’t exploded into popularity yet. When enough of you try it – it will be hard to keep in stock… It’s probably the most delicious juice I have ever tasted… it’s rather expensive, but one the rare juices I’ll actually pay that much for. Its cinnamon, orange, fruit and cream… VG base.

All of the juices from want2vape…[/COLOR] get on it before you’re too late ;-) I am the fourth person in the past few weeks that’s going to say this: their tobacco juices are really really good and really really different. Like BWB and Vaperite, want2vape crafts their own unique flavors… and I think you’ll love them… they are pretty potent… I think people who like Halo, nHaler, BWB, Vaperite juices will like these juices

8.[COLOR="red"] R Y Not - from nHaler (Octane series) The closest taste to this one is BWB RY4... it's strong, vanilla heavy and gives a great throat hit.



anyway, maybe you have some juices you think are worth trying that have either been overshadowed by the vendors other juices or forgotten about...

If you like Captain Jack, you have to try Captain's Delight and Missouri Bottoms from Vape the Rockies.

Also, Real Tabs is one of my favorite tobaccos. I hate to admit it because the owner of the company is a very disagreeable person. Real Tabs is the one juice they make that truly is indispensable for a tobacco vaper. And you won't feel that way when you first vape it. It grows on you. Got some I just mixed at 15% in ECOpure base, and looking forward to seeing how that turned out.

your a much respected reviewer in my eyes and agree with you on the BWB maple. Don tends to have difficulty keeping a lot of his juices in stock but maple is always available, and its one of my favorites he makes!!!!
Melonbacco is slowly growing on me.
I think I may take your advice because again Don's out of about 40% of his stock right now and they happen to be the ones I'm looking for.
Looks like its time for me to try some new juices

I am vaping Melonbacco right now. I have yet to find a fruit tobacco from BWB that I don't love. I love how it's somewhat of a fresher inhale. Great Stuff. For the folks that dig applewood and cherry, you need to try this out.

@Tango, I appreciate your reviews as well. I plan on giving want2vape and vapesafe a try. The Maple from BWB is at the post office ready to be delivered tomorrow.

Great idea and good job, Tango! There are a couple of vendors here that I haven't heard of and it sounds like I may have to check them out, especially for my dh who is very picky about his tob vapes! Thank you for the info on these "sleepers"!

Nice review. I'd add strawberry from BWB - peach and blueberry seem to get all the fruit love, but man, I adore the trueness of strawberry.

Yeah, strawberry too... so easy to look beyond such a common flavor... I appreciate how don captures it without making it taste too sweet.

i must say, dont know if i am the only one here, but by principle, i just cant bring myself to do business with people who are very disagreeable or who have acted "ugly" on the forums. that is why i have not tried the company you are referring to that makes Real Tabs.
this is why i REALLY like dealing with VERY FRIENDLY folks like dave at FSUSA and don at BWB and don at Breezesmokes. it makes such a difference.

Mentioned this to someone else the other day,and they said I should post it,so B sides thread seemed a good place.
One of my first orders was with Madvapes, I have to say I REALLY didnt care for anything in the order EXCEPT Rootbeer,if you are a fan of rootbeer barrels,that is EXACTLY what this is like,it was amazing. I think I got 24 mg nic,and it had a great throat hit..

Yeah - I understand that one...

There's a handful of folks I have had bad experiences with as well... and while they might make good liquid, I avoid them out of principal also...

There are a lot of really nice folks out there - Don is certainly one of the nicest - helps that he has awesome product as well ;-)
