Hi, folks,

Just a quick note: I'm back in the land of the living. 'Been a long trip. :D To make a long story short: cancer gone (knock on wood), new puppy growing like a weed (7 mnths old Shiloh Shepherd), and I missed y'all terribly.

Getting back into vaping. Just woke up one day and realized I simply can't smoke anymore. But, for now, I'm sticking to cigalikes to transition. I know that's not what GV specializes in, but I just can't bring myself to order elsewhere. Just ordered an e-PARD - hope it works.

I don't have much left from before, other than all my mods - but no batteries to go with them. Gotta figure out which clearos I'll go with eventually. Lots of reading coming up - it's been a long time. Lots of new stuff. :)

Cheers, all.
Briar.

Thanks, Yiddle - and hugs right back atcha. :)

Right now I'm kinda overwhelmed with all the new stuff, and after all the medical expenses my budget is non-existent... I was sorta hoping folks would recommend something new, interesting, and reliable, clearo-wise.

I'm fairly set for batts - still have a bunch of egos and all my mods, of course (just need to buy batteries), but, in a fit of depression, I threw away all my old Stardusts and tanks, so I'm in desperate straights. In fact, I was so desperate, I bought a Blu disposable at the local gas station (no vape stores around here) - which is not bad at all, actually, but it's expensive, and Bad is right, it does taste socky.

It was just plain weird - I've been rolling my own cigs, and last week woke up and felt like I can't smoke even one more - yick. All of a sudden it felt absolutely disgusting. But I still want my ritual and my nick. Can't wait for my e-PARD to show up.

And there are too some yellow things - even a yellow ego! I'm wondering how the newest fluxomizers are - those come in yellow... :D

I'm going to put up a photo of my new pup as my avatar - she is adorable and sooooo sweet. But, for a big dog, she is a terrible coward. LOL

Hi again Briar... glad to see you are back and feeling better also.

One of my favorite clearo's is the Kanger Mini-Protank ( I prefer the I or II version since they are single coil types ). The heads are easily rebuilt to help save a few bucks also.... although they don't list a yellow replacement tank there.

You may also want to consider saving that rolling tobacco... extracting and making your own e-juice from isn't too technical from what I've read about it... They are having good results with a hot or cold soak in PG, then filtering it through a french press using a filter. Then just DIY mix it as you would with any extract.

Thanks, Zoid - it's good to be back, and it's good to be vaping again. And it definitely good to be alive to enjoy it! :D

I know many Cancer Survivors. And Unfortunately, some who weren't so lucky, and Lost the Battle.

It puts a Smile on my face to Read a post like yours.

Guys, thanks for the welcome-back and for the compliments to the pup - Dasha is the sweetest pup I've ever had, I swear: loves scritches and hugs (!), makes amazing assortment of happy noises, and is as soft and cuddly as a cat. But, like I said, a terrible chicken so far. Won't let any stranger near her - runs away or hides behind me and tries to climb my back. :D But she's still only 7 months (though as big as a horse already), so who knows... They change so much as they grow.

Dan, you are a WIZARD of shipping! I ordered my epard on Sat, and I got it yesterday!!!! Unbelievable - it just doesn't seem physically possible. I don't know how you do it... But I'm a happy puppy. :vapor:

GREAT! We have some good people down here in our SCF : ) and if you can get your order in by early afternoon on Sat (1pmish or so) we'll get it out for you.

(((((((briar)))))))))))) so glad to hear your wonderful news, but so sorry you had to go through that. Gorgeous puppy!! I've never heard of a Shiloh shepherd, will have to check that out.

I always loved the vivi novas, but wanted a bottom coil that I could love. Now I've found it. They don't seem to come in yellow, but they made a true purple for me!! Get clear and find a great yellow juice you love

Hi Briar - good to see you back! Sounds like a lot of us have had a tough year healthwise, but you've definitely had it a lot worse than me. So glad to hear that you're doing well.

I've played around with some of the new stuff, but I keep going back to egos and stardusts - just an old stick in the mud I guess.

PS- forgot to say I used to be morganmeltz - well, I still am.....
