Welcome.

Not sure what size batteries you're looking for but Mooch's tests are very useful (link to 18650 tests, link to others).

He recommends Molicel P28A for 18650 batteries, and Molicel P45B for 21700 batteries (among others of course).

He did a recent test on Molicel P30B 18650 batteries, and they're extremely impressive as well.

Standard move for me in this situation is to check out @mooch’s blog. Someone will have a link. I bought batteries last at liion wholesale
I also like Liion Wholesale, though 18650 was good too.

@Wil w if you're looking for a good cheap charger too, I love this Xtar FC2. Dead simple to use, in contrast to my Nitecore UM2 which is convoluted. Last I checked 18650 was out of stock of the FC2 but Liion had it.

Xtar can make complicated chargers too. Generally they’re quite expensive. I’ve got a xtar dragon that actually has probes hanging off the back. Xtar is not a bad brand, nor is nitecore. There are several others. There are several features present in better chargers that cheaper ones don’t have. Mostly protections.

Good point. You're right, I didn't make that clear. I was referring to 2 different models I have, not the brands themselves but it could have been taken as bashing NItecore. Edited my post above to hopefully make that clearer.

Me I like stupid-proof automatic stuff, though I’ve been using the dragon mostly because I’ve got it. It does a weird thing where it sounds an alarm if you put in a battery backwards rather than simply not charging it. I find this handy because when I put a battery in a charger it’s because I want the battery to charge. I do occasionally put them in backwards though :/
The ones to be careful of are the no-name wall wart ones. Those often require watching. I would rather do other things generally.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
That depends on what wattage you vape at, and even what device you use. I mean, if you only vape at 7W the right battery for you will be different from someone who vapes at 50W because you can get away with using a lower amp, high mAh battery that will last you longer between charges.
