So a couple of weeks ago I'd given up on my ego-T/clearmizer setup. It just wasn't working. Kind of a mess and I had to roll the thing around alot to get everything soaked enough to get a good hit out of it.

I put it in a drawer and started back on my V2's.

The other day I ran out of blank cartos for my V2's and had to dig my ego-T out of the drawer. I tried the setup it came with: ego-T/atty/tank.

It was wonderful! I don't know if I just flooded the hell out of the atty when I started, but it works great now.

The only thing I'm concerned about is having to mess with the atty's too much. I've watched some pretty good vids on how to clean them and I'm hoping they work.

I don't mind buying a new atty once a month or so - but some people say they go through them once a week.

Just thought I'd share my experience with the ego-T.

And just out of curiosity, has anyone gone from an ego-T setup like mine to a Provari? I always hear how great those things are. Are they REALLY that much better than the ego-T?

I haven't used the EGO T tanks so can't help with this. I assume when you restarted with the EGO T you did not use the clearo again. They do need to be tilted and rolled frequently. But, if you do, the generally work quite well. Was that your only complaint with it?

Provari is essentially a battery (very nicely packaged) that is variable voltage. You can get variable voltage in a lot of PV's today. What Provari does at least as well as the others is regulate the voltage you select accurately almost regardless of the battery state. It will also not lie to you and let you set a voltage that it cannot deliver based on the juice device you are using. But, in the end, what you put on top of any battery is going to be more important.

I haven't used the Ego-T tank attys, but I've used a 901-T atty that's a half-similar design. It worked decently well. One of my friends like his Ego-T except for some occasional leaking that he usually solves with tape. The only thing I really remember was having to pull my post all the time and having to switch to manual batteries (like the one you have) because drawing hard enough to activate an auto battery sucked juice all the way through the atty and into my mouth. But it was okay. I very much prefer dripping or cartos to my 901-T. And there are a lot of cartos available for the threads on your Ego-T battery.

Did that help?

I'm using a Kanger T2 on a 650 mah KGO right now and it has the best flavor of anything I've tried - and there isn't much I haven't tried. The eGo is just a battery - you can attach any 510 juice delivery system. I use CE3s and the Kanger T2s...

Do you have the problem where you have to roll the juice around enough to wet the pad at the top in order to get a good vape?

That was my problem - but it looks like I bought a different clearomizer than you did. I bought a V2 something-or-other, but it looks similar.

Mine is the same (Vision V2). The wicks are really short and it seems you have to keep them really wet at all times. I just hold the thing upside-down (mouthpiece down) between puffs and keep it upside-down in my pocket, so the wicks never dry out. It works best when it's kept full.

I started on Ego T, moved to Ego C when they came out and in April of this year I got my first Provari. I now have 4 Provaris and a gaggle of Silver Bullets. I use carto tanks on all.

I have a few Ego Twists for DIY purposes. I drip on them to taste my batches at the voltage I will be vaping them.

I have never used any version of a clearomizer/clearotank but I do off and on use Kanger horizontal coil cartos on my Helix.

I understand the new Kanger T2's are a good clearo tank, they've been getting some good reviews.

Thanks, Lewis. I lie mine down on its side and try to keep it over 1/3 to 1/2 full and it works really well.
