I just got my ego-t atty a week or so ago and it worked just fine, then I got the new ego-t bat and now the atty won't work at all on the new bat or my rivia 510, it's like it just died, how can I fix it? Any suggestions, I've seen where other people have had this problem but can't find the thread for a fix.:(

Might try a Fonzerelli tap on it. You would be amazed at all the stuff i have fixed by just smacking it one good time. If that doesnt work not much you can do really if other atomizers are working in the batteries. I have had atomizers last from less then 24hours to over 5 months you just dont even know how long they will last. Best thing is have a few extras on hand for cases like this.

Unless you're really handy with soldering iron and comfortable with small, precise mechanical tasks, I think it is time to screw in the back-up atty.

I had the same problem with cignot and totally wicked. The only difference is that cignot(vickie) replyed to me within the hour. She also sent me a replacement along with a return envelope before i sent here the broke one. I have ordered from at least 8-10 vendors and have not received service like that. It was the fist time i had ordered with them and it was for only 30 bucks. Couldnt beleive all the great reviews of them so i had to find out for myself and i did. Im sure everyone has there story of great vendors but this is just my opinion

Yeh got 9 days on my atty too. Want to send back but vendor does not respond to my emails

Java_AZ: "Fonzerelli tap" ... still lol-ing about that after reading the rest of the thread. Have to remember it.

Check that the center post is still making contact. You can pull em out a little by gently tugging with a bent paper clip. I'm a bit confused, it sounded like it worked on one battery (whatever you used for the 1st week), but not others????? Now works on none of them, or the original batt works? Do you have a multi-meter by chance? See if it has continuity? Might be a gonner.

Good luck with the atty OP.

wow, don't think I care for this, think I'll stick with carto's. and my tornado. works great and I really don't want to pay for addies that work so short of time. Hope they get it better for you.
Let's not throw the baby out with the bathwater. I'm on the third week of sucking non stop on my E-go T Atty without any problems.
Things can go wrong with any product. You have to average it out. Maybe one atty will last you a week, and the next will last you a month.
T-Atties are 13 bucks a piece, so even you need 2 a month it still beats anything else that I've tried.

No mess, no mouthfull of juice, easy fill....Can you tell I'm a fan?

If it was working on the old battery, then when you screwed it onto the new battery it didn't work on the new battery, and then also wouldn't work on the first battery, is that correct?
I bought a tank atty/carts last week, got them in the mail on monday, fell in love once I got it working, and ordered 2 new Joye ego-T kits the same day I got it.
I had a problem when I got it though. I screwed in my brand new tank atty after priming it and getting it ready, and it wouldn't work. I pushed the button, and NOTHING. I put a 510 atty on the battery, and it worked just fine.
Turns out that it wasn't making contact with the battery, so no juice (I had a T-Rex setup, it's a Joye ego clone) but not close enough for the tank atty though.
I ended up with the "aluminum mod" LOL, basically I folded a piece of foil till it was the size of a grain of rice, and carefully screwed them together with the foil making the last mile between the battery and atty, if the foil moved from the center and touched the side, the light would blink like it was dead, after slowly screwing it on, while testing it out all the way on I finally got it working. It was very annoying at first, but it did allow me to use my tank and to fall in love with it, as I see you did.
But maybe when you screwed the new battery on it changed something about the connection where it wouldn't work with either battery anymore. Give it a try, and I really hope it works! I now have three tank attys, and would LOVE to get 6 months out of each! Tomorrow is 3 weeks for me off of smokes, and vaping. I chain VAPE, and haven't lost any of my many attys yet, and I'm hoping for a very long life for all of them.
Hope you enjoy your new tank system, this system caused my wife to finally fall in love with vaping, and she is going on 4 days! What a miracle for all of us. Good luck again, and sorry for rambling.
