I've had Reos off and on since Rob first started making them back in the day. Even though I haven't had one in a while, I always visit this sub-forum and would wish I still had one. Well today I do!! Rob hooked me up with this Green Vein beauty and Iove it!! Now it's time to go watch some Super_X videos and get this RM2 built! Happy to be a Reonaut once again! Merry Christmas everyone!

Is the coil out tight to the air hole? As close as possible without touching the cap is advisable.

Also, a couple of things to tweak....

Try less wick - less material through the coil and shorter tails. I find KGD mutes the flavour when it's overstuffed. The tell is a cottony flavour.

Adjust the coil slightly up and down from where you have it now. It's all about air around the coil and even a very small adjustment can affect the flavour a surprising amount.

You might want to back off the resistance a tad (maybe one wrap less). That'll get you a warmer vape with more vapour production (and denseness can help with flavour).

The RM2 is the gold standard for flavour chasing - it'll get there for ya.

Make sure your coil is close to the airhole, and centered vertically on the airhole. If that is already the case, another possibility is the airhole itself is too small for a 1.3 ohm coil, does the draw feel OK? The RM2 is known as a bit of a flavor bomb, once you get it dialed in you will be rewarded. What setup did you previously use (or like best, just to get an idea of what you are used to)?

ETA - where did you come from Papa? I thought everyone was asleep ;) You doin' night shift!

Is the green vein a new color or something that can be requested? I've never seen the green vein listed before. Green is my favorite color, that's why I chose the Kawasaki green, I've thought about ordering an OD green standard Rob has in stock and then have him LP it for me before he mails it out. Seeing this green vein has sparked a new interest.
