Gosh guys I'm so bummed! My atty seems to have been burned up. Harsh, bad plastic taste. It still burns, but I cant handle the taste. I think I got it too hot when I got some really good juice. At any rate, I have to throw this atty away and order another one. I have a small fortune invested in all my gear now. I have a LOT of juice, passthru, charger pack and extra battery. And I love vaping! Analogs are nasty! I have to go back to them until my new atty arrives. Oh woe is me!

Whoa is you, indeed. I can't smoke my old analogs anymore. I had been a diehard USA Gold Light smoker for two years, and now they taste to me how they taste to everyone else--all the sweepings off the factory floor. Still can't beat the price, though, unless you want to smoke little cigars... which might be a good way to quit smoking, actually...

Have you tried any of the atty cleaning methods yet?

If it's still heating, it's still functional, which means there is hope yet that it might get you through until your new atomizers (I hope you learned your lesson and ordered more than one!) come in.

Oh the taste has persisted for days and is horrible. I tried cleaning it 2 times. Once with alcohol and again with polident. Didnt help. Thanks for your input though!

That's what happened to me, cleaned it several different ways, soaked it all night in mouthwash, bew it out, over and over again. It kept working, I would get vapor but it tasted like burnt underwear (at least how I would imagine burnt underwear to taste). or burnt socks (same).

I feel for you.

And for me when this happened the analogs tasted almost as bad.

I have experienced the harsh burnt taste from atomizers. I would keep working with them, blowing them out, adding more eliquid and eventually they would work without the burnt taste. You are right the atomizer may have gone bad. I would advise keeping more atomizers than anything else. They tend to go bad before batteries so I think you need more of these.

Mine tasted like that for about 2 days after i did the soda rinse hairdryer thing then they went back to normal.

I thought i had ruined them but for some reason they came back to life tasted fine and eventually worked as well as they ever did.

now i just blow them out and keep unflavored 0mg vg/pg blend around and vape 4-5 drops through the atty to get rid of the flavors that want to stick around past their welcome

Must have more than one atomizer, it is part of the deal. I try to explain this to new prospects and they think it sooo expensive...ha.

I told a guy with emphysema last night I would get him a disposable set up for $20 bucks and he thought it was expensive. He is paying 3.50 to 4 a pack and he could still come out ahead.

We live near an Native rez and smokes are relatively cheap but still more than vaping if done right.
