NorCal - The place to be!
That suxs. I'm still a newb, and I haven't run out completely yet, since after I first tried it I went completely nuts and the next day ordered a TON of different flavors, but since I'm a newb, and most of us newbs tend to hang on to tabacco flavors I guess, when I ran out of my 'Camel WOW' from V4L I had kind of a hard time, but at least I had a whole bunch of other juice to vape. If I lived close to ya I'd give you some to get you through...

Hang in there, hope you get your orders soon. Could just be the Christmas rush of packages to family slowing things down a bit.

I don't get it. I smoked for 20 years, tried vaping 2 years ago. I quit THAT DAY and have not had smelly breath and fingers since, plus I can run 3-5 miles for the first time in years. Just the SMELL of an analog puts me off now. When I feared there was going to be a ban I bough a BUNCH of Joye510 kits because I didn't want to even take a chance that I wouldn't have access to e-ciggs. I was so excited and impressed by how easy it was to quit I pushed them on my family and friends, I literally GAVE them away to people I cared about to get them off analogs. Sadly, all but a few have gone back to analogs. The most common excuse was that E-ciggs were "a hassle". I was even there to hold their hand, answer questions, etc. It was even one of the best brands (Joye510) which I only settled on after finding this site and being previously ripped off twice by expensive inferior products.

In a nutshell, I did all the newbie research/mistakes. I gave kits away for free, explained how to use them, answered all questions and STILL 90% of friends and family went back to analogs at the first sign of difficulty. Now I have a bunch of 510 kits on my hands, and I have moved on to mods and other fun stuff for my own personal use.

Very exasperating. I tried... I really did.

Maybe it was because I needed 55 gallons of it . . .

Ace Hardware often has it by the gallon, as well as Tractor Supply. Sometimes farm supply places have it as well. I had a short dip into diy and I think I'm giving up on it. lol. If you could vape some of my grape or berry disasters you'd see why. :) By catching sales, I'm getting my juices at pretty reasonable prices anyway.

Ahhh, Kentucky.

I was there on an interview once in Lexington. It was for a company names Belcan. Perhaps i am weird but i thought it was funny that one of their major selling points is that they are actually located inside a high rize lol. If you dont know it, i understand. It is tucked away.

But yeah Lexington is a very pretty place. It makes where i live look like WWII is still going on. But yeah, Hot Browns freakin rule!

heheh, it sounds like you have a few manufacturer's located in state. Chances are that one is within driving range. I would check one of them out. As far as i know, up here in CT we only have middlemen. So, i would pay more if i went to one of them than the internet. It sure is nice to have an option to go directly to the manufacturer.
Lexington is a pretty place... Can't imagine someone actually calling anything around here a high rise though! LOL!

Pure Vapes does custom juice here... The other two are middlemen, but resonable prices though. The store in Richmond sells mainly 510/901 kits and tobacco flavors, but I've driven down there to buy attys at a fair price. The drive isn't bad to save on shipping and not have to wait for delivery.

Wow! Thanks for all the support! I'm amazed to find so many people wanting/willing to help in so many ways.

It also embarrasses me a little. This isn't a grievous situation, just an irritation. I know I'll have analogs in my life for the foreseeable future (unless someone makes a waterproof PV) -- I was just put-out because everything seemed to be going well, and then a glitch and my own lack of foresight sent me back to square one.

If we learn by our mistakes, I'm getting a great education! Now I know to have enough ejuice on hand to get me through a missing shipment. At least it happened now rather than when I'd come to fully depend on my PV.

Thanks all! You're great! :)

I haven't been into one yet to check it out but I've heard that 7-11 stores are selling ecigs and ejuice. Wouldn't it be great if a national grocery store chain would start selling this stuff so no matter where you are you can get what you need? In Colorado the only local supplier is a ripoff artist so I'm stuck with online ordering only. I really was in a panic when I started vaping because of this very thing.... what if I run out? I can go to a hundred stores and buy analogs. They have me covered if I want a cigarette. I remember it being comforting to know that when I ran out of cigarettes that I could get more quickly and easily. It would be nice to have that same comfort level with eCigs.

Fantwriter: just pick up a little bottle of Glycerin USP and just try vaping straight VG. You might be surprised at 1) how OK it tastes, it's light and sweet, wonderful vapor, and 2) how the nicotine is not quite as essential as we think. I can go for many hours on zero nicotine. If/when a nic panic hits, maybe try a Snus or something, or have a cig, then go another x hours on glycerin. By then one of the packages will arrive ... ;-)

The guys are right, a lot of the vendors understand all too well, and will overnight you anything you need. So big deal, this time you pay extra for overnight shipping, you learns yer lessons.

I totally understand, my baggage got lost on a recent trip and I only had the 1 ecig I had in my pocket, after extensive googling, I found a head shop that carried ecig stuff and paid a fortune for it, but still better than going back to analog. The funniest part of this story is that when I got back to the hotel from the head shop my baggage had arrived.

As for the waterproof comment, first I must ask why you need waterproof? The analogs are damaged by water just as easily as ecigs are. But, if you absolutely must have waterproof, you should try building your own mod, I can think off the top of my head that it shouldn't be very difficult. The modders forum on here helped me build my own mods within weeks of starting.

I ordered a KR8 kit and some extra cartos on Sunday (the 5th). They were shipped the next day and arrived quickly. Great!

Because of my cirsumstances, I couldn't give up analogs entirely (still needed them for when both batteries were dead, for when I was in the bathtub, and for when I needed a methol fix), but they decreased from 3+ PAD to 6-9 analogs a day.

I ordered some blank cartos and ejuice on Monday (6th) from a different supplier because the vendor from which I ordered the hardware doesn't have a wide variety of flavors. On Thursday (9th), I received an e-mail with the tracking number for that order. USPS's Track and Confirm page says they were electronically notified the package would be shipped. Nothing more. E-mails to the vendor have received only "we're not responsible for transit time" replies.

Now all the cartos are dead, and I've used up all the e-juice I could squeeze out of used cartridges from a previous attempt at switching to a PV.

On Monday (13th) I ordered ejuice from another vendor, and today I got the USPS e-mail telling me that package hit their processing center Tuesday (14th), but there's no clue as to when it might arrive (tomorrow, Saturday, Valentine's Day?).

I've looked everywhere in town, and no one sells ejuice or reasonably priced cartridges I could scavange for juice.

So it's back to analogs until one or the other (or both) of my orders arrives. :(

That really SUCKS!! Sorry for you.. If you lived closer I would give you a spare e-cig and juice laying around.. But you don't....

I spend at least an hour a day (and up to 3 hours) in the bathtub. Besides being the best thing for my muscles, it's my me time. I know it sounds weird to smoke in the tub, but it really helps clear my mind and lets me relax.

It doesn't matter how careful I am, there will be times when I drop things. Losing an analog here and there isn't an issue. Shorting out a battery would be.

But not to worry! A USPS e-mail says a notice was left, so I can pick up the shipment. From experience, I know that means it arrived at the post office, and they'll actually sort things out and put the yellow card in my box sometime after lunch.

I'll vape again! :)

Hi,
I hope you get your stuff soon too. I am a long time smoker, 2 packs a day. I have been using the e-ciggs for almost a week now. It was certainly a trial to try and change over, but not as hard as trying to quit altogether.

I have gotten some good advice here, that helped me. I wish you good luck. It has been a learning process for me, to even inhale them correctly:)

Since most of us have to rely on internet sites for our shopping, many of us have learned to stock up on both hardware & juices so that we don't get caught short - and some of us, like me, tend to overdue it. I currently have well over 60 attys, 30 batteries, 6 or 7 battery chargers, dozens of PVs, and about 2500ml of my favorite juices on hand, in addition to enough DIY stuff to make another 1000ml. Most of this stuff I acquired in bulk buys when I found good sales. Anyway, stick it out, and build yourself a little stash to get you by..... And, don't give up. I've been analog free over 6 months & am feeling great.

WOW! I thought I was bad! I have four kits with two batteries each; an extra 10 510 batteries and 10 extended life 510 batteries and 4 900 mah batteries. And another eGo kit with two batteries on the way. I also have about 20 attys and about 100 carts with a large bag of fish tank filter matterial. I have a total of about 3000 ml of premixed ejuice and am in the process of ordering DIY materials now.

I got used to stocking up when in the military, when I could only get to an American style store once every month to six weeks.

NOTE: Gourmet Vapor sells in the larger sizes and has very fast shipping.

I am jealous. I haven't had any me time for years, LOL. At least you have the means to let the stress out. Your first rough patch will be over soon, and you'll have a great time in the future. It's really impressive to see how much vaping has helped you out!

Be careful on stocking up though, I'm currently looking at things like this now, LOL. Amazon.com: Eight Drawer Wood Tool Chest: Power & Hand Tools

usps guy seems crabby lately...guess santa wont visit him this year...ugggg

Grab an extra card while you're out shopping and leave it for him. It's amazing what you get from your carriers with a little acknowledgment. Here in Oregon, I do the same thing around Christmas for the gas station attendants since we can't pump our own gas. They treat you like you are gold.
