Yeah, this stuff is so subject to "personal preference". For me, basics are:
5 volt 3xAA box mod. (Batteries charged once per day)
Standard joye 3.0 ohm Atomizers
Dripping
DIY juice. Flavor A, or Flavor B (OK.. maybe C) Mixed up every 3 or 4 days.

That's my simplest do-it-every-day thing. Most like a cig. No possible tech issues with cartos, leaking, etc. No PTB. No blue or orange or green or whatever foam. No gotta-have flavor of the day from whomever. I happen to have enough e-juice supplies and spare atomizers that I didn't even have to place an order this month. Nothing changed in my vaping in the last month. And I'm glad.

Ask me again next month..... it may be different ;) This vaping thing is a moving target.

Same here I've been bouncing around. I use a x1 AA box I made, LR Cartos, and sometimes an atomizer. And I literally yesterday found my perfect juice (I used the flavor creator from gourmet vapor). Life is great. I've been direct dripping for like a day now and still lovin it lol.

I was using LRs on my Go-Go (same type of tube mod, just different threading in case your confused) and they worked well. Ikenvape LR Cartos wont burn even at 5v, but your juice will. 3.7 with the LRs works great, and the majority of juices can handle it. I think I had one flavor from a brand that did not do well with the LR's, but thats it. To answer your question it should work fine.

Ok I haven't been at this very long, but I need to vent.

Disposable
901
510
eGo
cartridges, poly fill, blue foam, atties, dripping, kr808d1s,510, 510, dual coil, ce2 version 4 & 5

Iv'e soaked, baked, dried burned
killed a Riva that was given to me
committed "cartomizer murder"

Some days it seems that I'm cleaning and fiddling with cartos more than vaping, def. spend more time cleaning cartos ( and looking for info online) than I do cleaning my house!

I found my happy place and then "lost" it
I've spent more money looking for the "perfect" setup for me than I did when I was smoking

I totally aprreciate and respect the opinions of everyone on this forum. I have gotten some great advice, but also quite a few conflicting ones.

With all that, I'm still not ready to give up.

I was thinking about going "back to the basics" and getting some prefilled Boge cartomizers from Vapor Kings. I bought some for a friend of mine who wants to try vaping and she loves them so far.

I think I might need a day or two a week where I'm not messing around with equipment and be able to just enjoy vaping.

I don't have the money to buy a new PV, or mod or even a tank system at the moment, with my luck I'd probably kill the atty anyways:(

Any and all suggestions and recommendations, as always, are welcome

Thanks for letting me vent

Don't give up. After a good flooding, cartos should immediately start working right out of box, then begin to detiorate with age. NEVER let an attie dry out. If you are using carts, don't clean them unless abosolutely necessary. Just blow out excessive juice using your mouth.

Buy the cheapest cartos you can find and throw them away after a couple days or when you stop hearing a load hiss coming from the attie. Carry prefilled cartos with you so no top offs. Make sure you can safely vape your ecig in your car, which is the place where me and other people used to love to smoke.

Choose and e-cig that you can hold in your mouth in order to keep both hands free.

There ya go. But as you said, it is tough to find someone worth listening to.

HTH,
Dave

Sorry to hear you are having trouble Dragon! I, fortunately, found what I liked my first run out of the gate...minus the convenience store purchase I made out of desperation. I like the 510. Another thing with me, finances. Since I cant afford to buy this mod and that pv, I stick with what works for me. Not saying if I had more money, I wouldnt try various different ones. I want the 801, just to try, but it'll have to wait. As long as I have working parts...and juice that I like, I am set. At least for now. Stick with it and dont give up! Anything but dont go back to analogs...that's all that matters, anyhow, Right?
