back to vapor but one question

i had tried to quit smoking but the whole refill every few mins got to me so i stopped a few days later. so after a 6 month vacation my buddy at dfwvapor (thanks james and matt) got me the ego tank and now no refills all the time. i am vaping a 70 pg/30 vg mix and noticed my throat gets sore while enjoying this new wonder but quits being sore a few mins after i take my last puff or a min or two after drinking. also coughing right after a few puffs.

could this be a pg thing? i know the tanks say dont use 100% vg, or is this just getting use to vapor

i am using 18 mg and 70/30 mix. redbull, marlboro, cherry all the same mix levels and mg

When I first started I used to get sore throats too, don't remember coughing though

I know that vaping dries me out. I gotta keep my self hydrated.

If I use straight pg I tend to get a wikced head ache, but 70/30 works fine for me

I get the same symptom from PG liquids.. that tingly sore throat feeling. And I also know for sure that it doesn't happen for me when I use 100VG, but I can live with it. Mainly because my favorites all come in 70/30.

The coughing is probably your lungs clearing out the gunk from smoking. It happens to some of us. The dry throat is definitely because you aren't drinking enough water. VG and PG are hygroscopic, mean they attract moisture. This makes vaping dehydrating, so it's important for you to make sure that you drink lots of water!

I like a 30/70 vg/pg mix. Or, even a little more vg. I like the big vapor. I use 24mg. More pg seems to be more harsh. But if I roll it in my mouth and then inhale I never have a problem, no matter the mix. If I draw directly it can make my throat sore.
