My main vape flavor is Backo. I've been trying to get away from filler based cartos lately so I've tried the Startdusts and I just got a Viva Nova 2.5 yesterday. I filled the Stardust with Backo and quickly gave up on it when I couldn't taste the Backo flavor I'm used to. Now I have the Nova, which seems to be better, I filled it with Backo and while it doesn't taste horrible and has a better draw than the Stardust the Backo flavor isn't there. I'm using the 2.4ohm head. Has anyone been able to use Backo in any of these devices and get a nice flavor? If not, can you recommend some thing?

I usually used Boge LR cartos at are 3.6-7v. But they are crap now and leak like crazy. The Stardust I tried was a LR on a VV and I tried it at different voltages. Horrible, period. I have the Nova now which seems better, but not by much. I have the 2.4ohm head in it right now. The problem is when you get those nasty dry type hits on these it makes you flinch a bit to really crank the voltage.

I know exactly what you're talking about. It has to do with the air flow.

If you take a normal Stardust/Kanger T2/etc. and take a normal draw, it's airy compared to smaller devices, like cartomizers/CE2
s/CE3's. The flavor is less intense. The heat is less intense.

I just tried a very good flavor on a Kanger T2 and took a normal draw. Good, but not great.

When I covered up one of the holes and took a draw, my brain exploded. It wasn't a night and day difference, but the flavor popped MUCH better.

I've been trying to find something that can replicate that in an easy to fill clearomizer, but haven't quite found it yet.

Vaping is nuts. With the Boge disaster, I broke down and tried the Vivi Nova's. Right off the bat, my favorite vape, Backo didn't seem to wick right. In frustration, I loaded the Nova with some old Cherry Backo, that I just wasn't into anymore and BANG!!. Great taste and vapor in the Vivi Nova with a 1.8 head at 3.2V. It was so good I went through the 30ML bottle quickly and ordered another Vivi Nova. This time I tried Applewood, Adirondack and BlueBacko. In that order, they all vaped poorer than the Cherry to the point the BlueBacko would just burn. I don't have anymore Cherry either. So at this point, I have to decide whether I have a poor vape with the Boge cartos leaking, tasting bad or not producing vapor, or the Nova pretty much doing the same.

When I first started vaping it was all about finding juice that I could stomach for more than 3 seconds, but the now the inconsistent gear, cartos, tanks, batteries are justing killing me.
