Backwoods Brew 3 out of 4 yuck

I got 4 flavors from Backwoods Brew about 1 month ago. Casablanca, Honey Flue tobacco, Malty Toffee and Orchard Frost. I let them all steep a week or so, over 2 weeks for Casablanca and Malty Toffee per BWB recommendation. I tried all the flavors in different tanks and clearos, and I have to say that the only one I really like is Orchard Frost. It was a nice pear/apple with some menthol. Very different and very nice. Casablanca is just plain awful. To me it tastes like how mold or mildew smells mixed with dirt. Honey Flue tobacco is barely better than Casablanca. Malty Toffee is well, very strange. There is no toffee flavor at all and what flavor there is isn't very good. I realize that taste is subjective, and I could understand not liking 1 maybe 2 out of 4 flavors but 3 out of 4 is pretty bad. I have to say that I am disappointed. I won't be ordering from them again, unless I get a jones for Orchard Frost when what I have runs out.

Sorry to hear that! I love Malty Toffee, and order by the 50 ml. Maybe BWB just isn't for your pallet.

I love those flavors... not as crazy about the orchard frost... but heh, you learn as you go...

BWB niquids just aren't for me.
I have tried several of their niquids and liked none of them.

Well, there's that "Taste Is Subjective" thing again. I think it's more true with vaping than any other taste experience.

I too cannot get into Casablanca... tastes like a mouthful of soccer field to me.

Casablanca to me tastes and smells like jalapeños. Or some type of hot pepper....not bad mixed with other stuff but on its own isnt my thing. Same with malty toffee, I honestly get nothing from this, but nasty. I'll be giving that away.

Casablanca has a strong perfume taste to me. I would give it away but everyone who try's it doesn't like it either. Malty toffee is just ok. Maybe I'll get around to vaping it.

I have to agree about the Casa, and Malty toffee. Orchard Frost is one of my favorites though. I have at least 120 ml on hand at all times.

Don't let the three you don't like bias your opinion about all of Backwoods juices though. I really like BWB's backo, honey flue nut, root beer, green apple, menthol blast, Applewood, melonbacco, and (of course) Orchard Frost. YMMV

I had another bad experience with BB and have moved on. I don't like getting the bank involved but didn't have much choice. The issue was resolved in my favor but I feel badly that it happened at all. I may be wrong, but my impression is that if there is a problem, it's always your fault. I liked their RY4 when I could get it and usually vaped their 555 exotic. I'm scanning this forum for other options and as usual, am overwhelmed by all the choices available compared to when I started vaping over 3 years ago.

No, your not the only one I could not get with Casablanca, and two others that I cannot remember their names, they have been given away My fiance likes the Malty Toffee and re-ordered a 50mL but they are not for my pallet yuck!

Wow Casa is by far the best tobacco I've tried. I don't get the perfumey flavor at all, and I do get it with almost every other tobacco liquid. Guess taste is really different for everyone

I have Casablanca, Honey Flue, and Virginia. All have steeped for a long time, and still don't do much for me, strong flavors but they won't be re-ordered. I vape mostly tobacco flavors, and still these aren't for me. You're not alone.
