Smooth And Mellow tobacco
I was pretty happy when I jumped on the Backwoods Brew site to come across a new tobacco flavor, Adirondack. I was just getting on there to pick up some juices I have been meaning to try when I saw it, and knowing everything is pretty delicious from Backwoods Brew, I ordered 30ml of this stuff.
The description says its made with organic tobacco, which is always a plus in my book. When I first got it in I found it had a bit of that "pine" or "cedar" like taste a lot of premium tobacco flavors have, but it has already mellowed out. I have been vaping it for 2 days and the steeping effect is already taking place. I have to say already that this my favorite tobacco flavor from backwoods brew at this point, this wins over Virginia and Backo (which was known as Maxboro before). Those are the only 2 straight tobacco flavors Don has, in my opinion everything else has other things thrown in. This Adirondack juice really tastes like good plain tobacco.
Flavor: 4/5
To me this juice tastes like a nice tobacco which has a little complexity to it. It is a very pleasant flavor. It almost is like a blend between Backwoods Brew Backo and Vaperites Organic Tobacco. Im pretty sure this is a Virginia tobacco, it tastes like it, but it also has a little bit of a wheaty-ness to it. On the inhale you get a lot of sweetness on the tip of your tongue, but it is not a sweet flavor. On the exhale, you get the tobacco flavor and hints of honey and wheat. It is very mellow and enjoyable, definitely something you could vape all day long and not get sick of. I am really enjoying this juice so far.
Vapor Production: 3.75/5
Backwoods Brew always impresses me with the vapor production, this seems to be making a little less than normal, but I think that is due to its consistency which is more watery than normal.
Throat Hit: 3.75/5
A fantastic throat hit although it is a little on the smooth side of things, and that is not necessarily bad. For Tobacco I would like a little bit more though.
Consistency: 3.75/5
The last couple bottles of juice I got from Backwoods Brew were as thick as a 100% VG juice, but this time they are kind of runny. I am thinking about removing the consistency rating because of how often the same juice can be different. I am sure if I ordered this again it would be thicker next time.
Overall Score: 3.82/5
I am really liking this juice, and I am anxious to see what the steep does. I am guessing its going to mellow out more and have some creamy tones come about. I would recommend this juice to anyone.
