So, I just received my first order from BWB. Not only are the flavors great, shipping was fast. Virginia has a sweet, spiced type flavor. Perfect. Definitely see it changing with time, but still great. Maple tobacco. This is a dark juice. Like black jellybean dark. It looks so good. I love dark juices, coffee, beer, etc. So glad I got a 30ml of this one. And root beer tastes exactly like a glass of A&W

So, the quality is wonderful, and it was really very fast shipping. Like, I am really impressed. But the thing that really got me, was that When I looked at my invoice, the virgina 15ml bottle I ordered was crossed out, and at the bottom someone hand-wrote 'virginia 10ml 24mg free'. So I was confused. Emptied out my package. They sent me the 15ml I ordered and paid for, PLUS threw in a free 10ml bottle of virginia. Now that's epic service.

So, has anyone else had this experience? If so, is there a reason he does this? new customers maybe? How do they decide which one to send ?

hmmmm. Well, I am very, very, very happy with this ejuice. Thankfully. I was extremely disappointed with my experiences with vaperite. Good flavors, but the juice decimated my ENTIRE atty/carto stock in a week.

BWB will be my go-to from now on. I like that I don't taste duplicate flavors [yet]. I guess they use several different suppliers.

I only ordered from them once. Loved the Applewood Tobacco, but their flavors were so subtle (at that time, at least). They did throw in a complimentary full size sample. Can't remember which it was. It was an unmarked bottle, but it was listed on the invoice. Since I wasn't a repeat customer, I have no idea if they do that with every order.

Didn't you say in another post you were vaping the VR organic juices at 6v in 1.7ohm dual coil cartos? If that's the case, then that's what went wrong. It's not the juice. Also, if you were using the 100% VG juice, that's not supposed to be used in cartomizers anyway. I don't know. I've used Vaperite exclusively for months and never had any problems. Have you contacted Todd and addressed this problem with him? His customer service is top notch.

I did have that setup but I recently bought a 3.7v 18650 battery with both standard and LR cartos. No luck. The liquid just got burnt, clogged, gross.

I'll tell you that I agree Don's flavors are subtle. But steeping is definitely occurring. The flavor is improving as the day goes on.

I guess he probably tosses in a sample for new customers, and just picks one at random. My bottle was labeled. Man, I'm glad he sent virginia. So good.

This maple tobacco is by far the best eliquid I have ever tasted. ever.

Holy shamoley. I didn't see the original post, but yeah... flat out no such thing as organic flavored juice that will stand up to 6v, let alone with the LR cartos. The super high voltages (say anything over 4.5 or 5 v) flat out kill organic flavors. This isn't a supplier issue, this is chemistry, so no way around that one.

I use Virgin Vapor organic 100% VG premixed juices pretty much exclusively, and they die at highest voltages. I use vaperite for organic flavorings to DIY (had amazing service from Vaperite, too.), and they die at highest voltages. Most people that I've talked to say their 'sweet spot' for Organic flavored liquids is around 3.7-4.5v. I recently got a Variable Voltage mod, and as much as I hated to do it, because I love my organic juices, I had to buy some with artificial flavorings to experiment with voltages 5v and up.

I do have to disagree with the 'no VG juice in cartos' thing, though. While I've heard that said again and again, and that is true with most 100% VG juices, its not true of all of them. Virgin Vapor's all VG liquids are about the same 'consistency' as most pg/vg blends. They're nothing like that thick gooey VG I've gotten other places. Don't know how Annette, the owner, pulls off this feat, but she's really good at VG organics. She has tons and tons of clients who use her all VG juices not only in cartos with no problems, but in TANKS. Her VG juices are just nice and thin and almost perfectly clear, so they're perfect for my boge's and tanks as well. Seriously, a few of her clients have been using her all VG in cartos for more than 6 mos with no early carto deaths. ;) So if you want your organics in VG in cartos... there is a way. ;)

Oh, and I'm super excited about the BRB! I had a friend recommend 'Malty Toffee' in strongest possible way, so decided to give it a whirl. Waiting on my first bottle. ;)

I don't know how she does it but lots of suppliers thin it with alcohol.

I just ordered from Backwoods yesterday for the first time -- will let you know if I get anything freebie.

I order mass quantities from Backwood Brew and have never gotten a sample ever. I'm not complaining, just a statement of fact. Vapor Bomb always send a big bottle sample of a really good juice.

**reminder, tomorrow a Black Friday sale at BWB. I 'think' the code is backfriday or something like that. Check the Steals and Deals thread.

I believe Annette uses distilled water to thin all flavors but her Menthol Moon Drops. Because of the nature of the natural menthol crystals, they keep recrystalizing in the VG, so she thins that one with PGA (pure grain alcohol). I've followed her lead and am using mostly distilled water to thin my novice attempts at VG diy. Working pretty great so far! But I know when I start to play with my menthol crystals, I'm gonna have to break out the big guns and thin w everclear. ;)

Like I said, I surmise that I got a sample because it was my first order. I asked Don about it, and thanked in for the great service and juice. He said 'you are more than welcome'. It's almost mysterious. haha. Virginia and maple are so good. So, so good.

I'm not complaining at all because I didn't. I couldn't be happier with my orders from BWB. It was nice of him to do with your first order! Enjoy!

I had no idea about that regarding the menthol crystals. Thanks!~

I order from Don almost exclusively, and often. And I never got nuttin' for free. :(

I too order primarily from Don super fast shipping, decent prices, awesome juices especially Malty and its super thick and I run it in my Reo Mini and Grande at 6v and 5v in a boge 3.0 carto with no problems and no darn freebies for me either
