Didn't see a forum for backwoods brew so I'm posting here.

Maybe I'm missing something here, but when I try to check out at BWB the payment method icon only leads to the last checkout icon. Nowhere to enter CC info.

Is this a glitch?

It says payment method "paypal", but I can't find where to select a different method.

Yeah, as soon as Don got up and going, he got screwed over by the merchant account that took him on in the first place.
I suggest you PM Don or CDrTrip.
What juices were you looking at?

I just ordered using paypal at 10:50pm EST. Checked his site after reading this post, added stuff to my cart, checked out and was sent to paypal. Logged into Paypal, oked charge and Confirmation from Dons email account and PP. If PP is the only way to get my favorite sauce then so be it.

thanks. Got Maxboro, Menthol and cherry tobacco...... hopefully I ordered yesterday and had to jump through a million hoops to set up a paypal account. Took thirty minutes to place an order that should have taken 2 minutes max. Today the website says its not taking orders. However the order shows as paid and my card was charged so I'm hoping whatever happened today doesn't affect my order from yesterday.

OT. Why can I buy on other sites that sell the same stuff with a credit card? There must be more to it than what we know because every other e- juice site takes credit cards,

If you have any questions or doubts, pm don... He's had A LOT of orders in the past two days and he currently has no way to accept payment... yours might have been one of the ones that went though... you'd have to ask - and don't rely on an automated message.

In any case, hang tight - this one is beyond don's control. he went with a reputable service provide and they inexplicably shut him down. he'll be up and running with them or a new provider asap...

Obviously a jab at me. Ok am I the only one that finds it weird that one single vendor is being singled out by the card company when every other vendor sells exactly the same stuff but they can all accept credit cards???

For a long while Don took orders through email using PayPal , but they don't allow the sales of e liquid, he was able to do so for quite a while until PP got wind of selling e liquid.

Don just got his website up and running and as with most new online businesses there are usually a few kinks to work out along the way. The cc company he chose originally had ok'd selling of e liquid and then a week later reneged on it. He is in the process of setting up with a cc company that doesn't have such stringent rules.

I see nothing unusual happening here....other than the selling of e liquid that the FDA would like not see being sold. The aftermath of their interference causing fear for CC companies which trickles down to the Mom & Pop shops that sell the stuff...ugh! I'm sure Don will make it work and in quick fashion...but if I ever had to, it would be well worth my while to send him a money order to get the quality juice I prefer.

Hang in there, I can see how it might look to someone who doesn't know Don or Backwoods Brew, but there are plenty of his long time customers here who have nothing but glowing reports...you'll really enjoy the juice, what have you got to lose?

I just wonder how all the others can sell stuff with no problems, thats all. I got a reply from Don saying it was not an issue so I'm confidant.

Different Merchant accounts have different rules. Unfortunately they decided after allowing it they decided against it in another department there. Been arguing with them for days now over everything to no avail, they win they cant have me no more.

All is good either went out today or is going out tomorrow for sure as will all other orders

Awesome...you really are going to love the experience once you start vaping BwB .

I don't understand all the hassle either, but there are some hoops to jump through when selling certain items...other vendors may have had the same issues when first setting up their payment system as well....who knows, lol!

Anyone having any doubts about a order they placed over the weekend just contact me and let me know your order number and ill let you know if its all good or not. I set Paypal up over the weekend for people to get some orders in and knew it would get shut down, which it did this morning but atleast some of you got to get some juice. I hope all is straightened out in fast fashion and back to normal again.

All things are now running on the site and orders are procedding as normal. If you placed a order last weekend and havent gotten anything as of yet feel free to contact me as there was a glitch in the payment process with Paypal shutting me down and some payments werent processed but all is good now. If you are in doubt check your billing to see if you were charged for something but chances are you werent and of this I apologize.
