This ^^^^^^^^^ is one reason I'm going to the doctor; my 2 yr old granddaughter recently had a Severe mouth issue and couldn't eat for a week! She lost 5 of only 34 pounds so........However, I must admit I'm not seeing anything much like that in my mouth I'll just have to see what the ole' Doc has to say today Thank you all for your responses and help!

Give you some humongus blue pills to kill the virus & tell you to stop vaping! Actually he thought I was getting MORE nic than with cigs & I could kind of tell he wasn't open to discussing it so I just dropped it I'll give it a while to heal up then try again

Hi Dale! As others have said, PG and to a certain extent VG are anti-microbial so vaping unflavored juice should be fine until you heal if you can stand it. I've heard vitamin C and B complex could help shorten the shingles cycle, and sucking on ice or popcicles can help relieve the symptoms. Antihistamines might help as well. There's also a shingles vaccine if you continue to have problems. It doesn't necessarily stop the outbreaks but can lessen the severity and number. Did your doctor give you some corticoids to go along with the anti-viral medication?

As to the getting more nic than smoking, we have at least one study behind us that said we get less to the same amount of nic, depending on the device used. I'll hunt it down if you'd like to see it.

Hey Storm, yes I was aware of the fact that we actually get less nic from the vape delivery All he gave me was the anti-viral medicine but I'm good with that (think we've caught it fairly early, I'm such a big baby about pain). Besides, that one bottle of med cost me 142 dollars , hubby's gonna have a coughing fit of his own when he get's home!
I have & will use unflavored juice (blah! humbug!) until things improve
As to the ice/popcicles ummmm, I don't know about that; the last few days the only thing that feels good is "slightly" warm beverages so I think I'll stick with that for a while. Makes great coffee don't cha' think...NOT!

As to unflavored, it's my all day vape. Make sure you get a good supplier and it won't be too bad, I hope. Some folks put just a bit of Koolada and lemon in it.

Good luck, try to stay as stress free as possible (shingles) and as far as Virgin Vapor Organic juices - stick with the 100%vg! The consistency is perfect and flavors are outstanding! We've recently discovered the kanger protanks, evods and new t3s and they really bring out the complex flavors even more (if that's even possible!) Her loyal customer base really wanted a one stop shop and i've been so impressed with them and the ability to customize to my preferences.

I'm so thankful i was sent their way in the begining of my vaping transition and incredibly happy the severe mouth sores i had from vaping pg healed in a few wks after i switched to their juices. I owe my continued success in quitting "the stinkies" strictly to the team at Virgin Vapor and having all my questions answered no matter how much i was freaking out with literally a raw mouth! The hard part will be eventually giving up these uh-may-zing flavored juices if/when i ever decide to quit vaping (gasp!)
