I purchased a couple of AW IMR 18350 batteries with my Mini Provari around a month ago. I also got a Nitcore i2 to charge them. I've been vaping with an hcigar Kayfun 3.1 running a 1.6 ohm coil lately at around 4 volts for a total of 10 watts. Not extreme I don't think. 10 watts seems to be rather common. Thing is, one of my 18350's only seems to last a couple of hours max. I've been monitoring the battery power on my Provari each time I take a vape, and within the span of two hits, it went from 4.1 to 3.9. The other 18350 seems to last as long as it has always lasted. One could typically get me through my work day. Both started out lasting around the same time. I don't think I've treated this battery any differently from the other. I also have an 18490 that I purchased with the extension cap for the Mini from Provape itself. Is it possible that this battery is just a dud, or should I be looking at the charger, or the Provari?

Is it common for an 18350 to die so quickly? I thought that AW's were of better quality, and I'd get up to a year. It isn't that the normal mAh rating is too low for me. I prefer the Mini without the extension cap because my hands are very small and it fits in them better that way. I don't mind changing out the batteries more often due to it. I just thought I'd get more cycles out of it then I did before it started dying. I do have more 18500's on the way, as another vendor known to have real AW's had them in stock and not the 18350's, and while those are more convenient for if I'm spending a day where changing out the battery isn't ideal, I'd much rather use the Mini in it's mini form.

I have the same problem with my 18350's. They're only 700mah, so they really don't last long. I have noticed the 18500 lasts much longer in my provari, but they are 1100 mah.

I have aw, effest, and EH 18350 and they all last about the same. So I would say yours are normal. You just need to change them often in mini mode.

Also, if your checking the battery right after you take a toot, you will see a voltage drop. Wait a couple seconds after you take a toot for the battery to "recover" from the load. That will be the actual volt left.

This only contributes to the problem. Each time you ask the provari to report your battery voltage, it's actually firing. You can actually vape it without pressing the button during this process :D.

And I dunno... 2 hours at 10 watts... lots of unknowns here as to number of "draws" but 2 hours sounds about right to me for an 18350.

I know it fires, and I do vape it while it does. I know that checking is contributing, but it lasts for far less time then the other 18350 does and it's quite a noticeable difference. Otherwise, I wouldn't be checking it. When it died so quickly the first time, I almost panicked, thinking there was something wrong with my Provari. When I switched to the other battery however, it lasted as long as usual. It's like the mAh's just dropped for that battery overall. Oh well. As long as there's nothing wrong with the charger or the Provari itself. It seems to be just that one battery, and they're not too expensive to replace.
