I ordered 2 901 to 801/201 & 2 901 to 501 adaptors. I got everything in the mail on Saturday. I took a 901 to 801/201 adaptor and hooked it up to my new GGT. Everything worked great until yesterday. It died. I tried adjusting the screw in the center but that didn't do anything. So I put in the other adaptor and everything works great. :D Just now I descided to put an 18650 bat in there and 5 drags later, I got nothing. Absolutely nothing. I have my 901 to 510 adaptor in it right now. I'm hoping that it doesn't die on me as well.

Is anyone else having problems with them or am I just doing something horribly wrong here?

I use the adapters myself, I've had a few go crazy on people here and there. But out of thousands of them I guess that is to be expected. Make sure not to clean the threads with Alcohol, best suggestion ever :p Seems to weaken the silica and causes shorts, just a friendly suggestion.

Typicall I use the 510 to 801/201, 510 to 901 or 901 to 510 ;P

Oh and everything that I had is brand new. So I've never had to clean anything or was I supposed to?

The way the GGT thread is set up will do this. The center post floats, if you notice it pushes upward when you insert a battery. Try not to tighten the GGT as much, you can also try attaching the adapter and atty before inserting batteries into the GGT.
