The world of batteries is quite complex and most would find it as extremely pointless knowledge to possess, so I will spare you a long answer

Your batteries and charger as just fine. That is normal. If you want a further explanation, search this on your favorite search engine. Along with the answer to the question, you will also discover people actually argue about batteries. It's amusing.

Enjoy!

I suppose it depends on your definition of very warm. I would say batteries should never get very warm to the touch while charging - I know mine don't. Warmish, slightly warm, higher temperature than the ambient - yes, very warm, no.

I would echo Ocelot's advice about getting a decent charger. I use a Nitecore D4 (i-2's can be found for as little as $12). Although chargers are another thing that people like to argue over, so take my advice as you will.

Some folks argue about batteries. Others about coils, or mods, or the best juice flavor, steeping, advocacy, or other subjects. I guess we all have a passion that someone else might find amusing. ;)

I have a Nitecore too, but an earlier model. I quite liked it until it suddenly died. After I bought the Xtar it came back to life, but I don't trust it now.

I had an i-2 that died and came back to life, but I think it was because I tried charging about 5oz of beer in it.

Beer was still flat and the charger started blinking up a storm.

Anyway Occy, not seen you around for ages, hope all is well ma'am...:)

Hope you're doing well too. I hang around down in the ProVape forum. I've found my happy set-up and am out of the loop with the new products on the market, so I don't have much to add in the New Members forum.

I should have mentioned the Trust Fire TR -100 continues to charge the battery until it is removed.

I personally avoid these types of chargers, but I will admit the first charger I bought was like that. I knew absolutely nothing about the science of battery charging, so I bought the one the salesman recommended as I trusted they had knowledge of what they are selling.

    Yeah, big mistake.

I sincerely hope the people who find battery knowledge "pointless" are staying away from mechanical mods. I would personally argue that battery knowledge is one of the most important topics in vaping. But that's just me.
    To the OP.
You have some pretty nice batteries, i recommend getting a nice charger as well. I love my Nitecore Digicharger D2. Ive also heard good things about the Xtar and Efest chargers.
