Hello boys and girls!

I have been trying to get my foot on the e-cig ladder for just over a month now.

I purchased a DSE901 starter kit from ecigaretteweb along with 50 refill carts etc. I was all set I thought....

First thing to happen was a battery died on me within the first 24 hours. It was ok, it came with two batteries so I could persevere (sp!) untill I recieved a replacement. The replacement came and all was well with the world again. :p

Next thing to happen inbetween times was after 5 days use in place of anaglogues the atomiser died on me. Silly me I know for not getting a spare but you live and learn don't you....

I got back in touch with the seller and they got me to post back both batteries and the atomiser. No questions asked, a few days later (with a ...... off wifey who hates me smoking analogues) I recieved two new batteries and another atomiser.

That was 9 days ago. Now the atomiser has died again and one of the batteries is on the blink again. 8-o

Is this very common with the 901 or am I just supremely unlucky?

The seller has offered me a refund so I am thinking about taking the money and looking for a new UK supplier who can dispatch quickly.

Could anyone suggest a fast reliable (and cheap-ish if poss) supplier for e-cigs?

Thanks in advance all,

Mike....

Welcome to the forums Vegeeta.

Sorry to hear about your experience with the DSE901. What I've noticed is that it is hit and miss with the e-cigs. Some people order and never have a problems with there e-cigs, and some have one problem after another.

I'm currently using the 901 and have had no problems with it. I ordered it from HealthCabin from China.

HealthCabin also has 501's as well. The prices are cheap, but shipping is around $15-$16, but for around $100-$120 you can get 2 starter kits, extra carts, usb passthrough, and some liquid. The starter kits include 1 atty, 2 batts, charger and carts.

Their shipping is fast, and customer service is great.

You might want to give them a look see.

have used them before and been all good...(touch wood) have had no probs at all...(although probably just jinxed it!)...guess it is just luck of the draw. I went from the RN4081 to the DSE901 and cant help thinking that although there is more vapour from the 901, the 4081 atomisers seemed to last that little bit longer...anyone else found that? As as a trade off i have stuck with the 901 for that extra throat hit...

Just a quick update really, they sent me another new atomiser and it worked for a while.

It has developed a new symptom where by no matter how hard I was drawing, the e-cig would "stutter" and cut off half way through a drag!

This happened on both batteries I had. I reasoned it was due to the atty being too juiced up and/or the connections being dirty. I dried the atty out and cleaned all the connections completely. Still happening grrrrrrrr :-x

I spoke to the supplier and they have agreed to give me a full refund... phew!

Ordered myself a nice titan 510 so fingers crossed I will have it by Saturday!

I have the DSE901 and I got from a Chinese supplier. I too had a problem with a battery and atomizer, they sent me replacements and I have had absolutely no problems since then. That was more than a month ago (probably close to 2 months ago) so I'm thinking that maybe you just got really unlucky there, but I wouldn't give up on the DSE901 completely. I love it compared to another one I used (either the DSE104 or 103 I can't remember the number now as I don't even have it anymore). Hopefully you will find one to work for you.
