I keep somehow separating the plastic from the bottom of these things. I was thinking that I had just not been careful not to twist the plastic part, but it just happened again while not even touching the plastic! Does anybody else have that problem and if so, do you ever manage to get the plastic back into the metal without warping it and making it leak?

And yes, I am clumsy. =P

I gave up on those things because the plastic and metal will never stay sealed. Longest mine ever lasted was a few weeks. They are disposable as far as I am concerned. And, quite frankly, are not that great to begin with. The only redeeming quality was that I could toss them in my purse and they wouldn't leak... at first anyway.

You can buy just the tubes now instead of replacing the entire thing.
