These Clearomizers are a great idea, but does anyone else have a problem with leaking ?

My metal Edition2 cartomizers rarely leak, but my clearomizers leak everyday. I store them in a plastic container and after a few hours, there is juice all over the carto's.

They are not broken or anything, but they do tend to break quite easily (I discard the broken ones when they break). The plastic surround tends to break at the base (threaded area) quite easily without excessive force.

I must mention that I refill them by removing all the rings and filling straight from the bottle, but I always ensure the lower ring is securely in place, which doesn't seem to help.

Perhaps these things can be redesigned so that the casing is metallic, with a small plastic window on one side like the new Giantomizers coming soon.

I've found that mine leak if the tube is not pushed on all the way. If it is pushed down completely covering the seal, then it doesn't leak...

However, the plastic in the clearomizers seems to expand ever so slightly and the tube moves so easily now... very messy.

I find they leak around the bottom.I've been glueing the tube on and that seems to stop leaking.Hard to believe the way certain juices crack these thing so quickly.

yup, anything with malic acid cracks them fast, if your using a sour juice I wouldn't even bother filling these with it.

Only on my first one but no leaking from bottom. I do get juice in my mouth occasionally and haven't figured out why that happens or how to stop it yet.

What battery are you using? And which resistance clearomizers?

Edit: For me personally, when I first tried the 3.0-3.2 on my ego I got juice in my mouth from it and it seemed that it wasn't getting hot enough for the juice I was using (it was collecting where the wick enters the coil). I switched to 2.6-2.8 and I've had no issues with juice in my mouth.

I am using the clearomizer on my 3.7v little chuck. They are the XL 2.?-3.0 resistance. I clean out the gap between the internal rings and the black soft tip every once in a while but still get a little on my lip/tongue. I was tired of dripping all the time especially when out or driving and I do like these a lot except for the occasional juice in my mouth. It is as flavorful as dripping without the constant dripping and they don't flood.

I actually noticed this with one of the carto's today, it had juice in the threads when there was no juice in the tube.
The problem is that if the tube is pushed all the way in, it makes bad contact on some batteries.

Plus one of the carto's cracked at the base near the threads causing a big leak, the carto was only a day old.

These things need a redesign. The Giantomizer looks promising, perhaps that design can be carried down to the clearomizers (metal case with small plastic window to view the juice level).

I'm thinking of tying the base with a cable tie since the outer plastic is so weak.
