im sorry about your father..but theres always hope.. cndbison right now i know how hard it is now..because of my father's situation last year..the doctor told us that my father has a cancer and the clock is ticking..and i visited him here in canada..1st time to see my father again..after many yrs..ive been reunited with my family here..i thought he will survive..but the cancer spread fast..i just spend 1 month with my dad but he passed away...the good thing is that we make sure that 1 month we spend..is happiest days of our family...

I'm very sorry to hear about your dad. There wasn't a lot of smoking in my family; my grandfather was really the only close member of my family that did. He smoked a pipe, and ultimately developed a rare form of moving cancer. He passed away in '82. Cancer sucks. It is definitely a good reason to keep vaping, and hopefully try and get any smokers you know to give vaping a shot, too. We joke about about the cancer sticks and how we've all made a good decision to avoid that whole disease thing, but underneath it's a very serious commentary, and I think we're all of us thankful beyond measure that E-cigs came along and allowed us to do the one thing we simply weren't able to do by other means: Quit smoking. I know I am, and I praise these little (and not-so-little) bits of tech every chance I get.

Best wishes for you and your family.

I'm really sorry to hear about your Dad, CdnBison. Cancer is indeed a devastating diagnosis, but hold on to hope.

Cancer is such a scary word, and when people hear it they tend to only think abou those who passed away, rather than all those who survived/are surviving the diagnosis. I feel very strongly that keeping a positive attitude (as hard as it may be) is integral in the body-mind healing process.

Take care of yourself, CdnBison. We're all thinking of you and and sending healing thoughts your Dad's way.
