bad occ coils

Question my fellow vape heads. I'm stepping up my personal vape game bc I love it! Purchased an istick 30 and subtank mini to step off into sub ohm zone. I'm loving this setup but I purchased some occ.5 coils and a few of them make my istick go into protection. Can I disassemble them and straighten the wire within and build my rbc deck?

Hi Dark. The OCC coils can be rebuilt (you tube) but I doubt you can take them apart without damaging the existing coils and wick. As to the build deck I'd look at the "vertical coil build for subtank mini" on you tube.

Morning, I had the same issue. What worked for me and hopefully does for you too...take the could out and look down into the base. Is there juice down there and is the spring nice and straight? I washed my base out, dried it with a qtip then took my little screwdriver and carefully pushed the bottom pin out. Then stretch the spring really carefully, reassemble and voila. Hope this helps.

Did you get these coils from Fasttech by any chance? They sell both authentic and rebuilds. My experience with anything other than authentic has been bad. I have been able to fix them, but not without issues.

Yo thx for the support like this forum quick responses and reliable answers from experienced vape heads. Imma try a few of the suggestions to see if they work. But I purchased the occ at my local tobacco outlet whose stepping up their stock on vape supplies. I'll keep y'all posted on Wht I figure out. I'm wanting to go into the mechanical stage anyone suggest a mod tht won't kill my pocket but function good? But I'm vaping away right now in TJ maxx restroom love the stealth action!

Nah picked them up at my local tobacco shop whose opening their vape accessories so but I'm sure they're authentic kanger but I'm using my rba deck right now and I think for this smaller setup istick30 sub mini it's best at around .7-1.0 ohm so but I'm trying to elevate to the next level and do some official builds I'd like a mech mod but I don't wanna hurt my pocket any suggestions?

I just believe the eleaf thirty hasn't the capabilities to fire anything under .7 or right at .5 bc I've taken it all apart cleaned,dried,blah,blah,and nothing. Quickly swap to the rbc base and fires right up reading .9 which started out at .7 now it's reading 1.0 but needless to say it performs great with awesome flavor and fills my lung capacity. Still I've got this strange desire to push the envelope and chase further into the search for lung busting,tongue tingling,vape clouds. Sweet addiction I guess!
