I bought a crown tank from uwell about a week ago and haven't had much luck. The first juice I tried was blackberry, and it didn't seem to taste quick right. Right now I have some other type of berry, but it really doesn't taste good at all. I know it's not a burnt coil, since I primed it well and am using 70% pg juice. It tastes kind of like plastic. All the juices I've tried have been from the brand, Juishy ejuice, if that makes any difference. I don't seem to get a good strong flavor like I expected, given the large amount of vapor it produces. I've also tried a couple different coils.
Any advice would be appreciated.

High PG will wick too quickly giving you burnt/nasty hits. Go max VG if you can.

When I changed from tootle puffer gear to sub-ohm, it was a whole new world of vape. If you desire to go down this road, forget most of what made sense to you before. I went through the same learning curve.

Best to go with at least 70VG because the crown is meant to be a high VG tank for clouds. I think 40-50 watts with a .5 is an ideal vape. Do max vg if you can. The tank is amazing and is one of my staples. You could even add straight VG to your other liquids to buff up the VG count so that they aren't wasted

Don't know where you're at with it now but, a fresh factory coil takes about a half to 3/4's of a tank to break in... After that, it should be tasting fine. Your experience of a new coil is valid, but hopefully you've stayed with one long enough to get past its break-in stage. If you've swapped 'em out too soon without giving them a chance to settle-in, that's unfortunate.

How exactly does it not make sense?
It took me a second to understand what you're trying to say. At first it also didnt make sense to me, but let me see if i understand you: if something wicks quickly, the juice will be gone too quick and the coil will singe the dry cotton. The new juice will take some time to re-saturate the cotton.

This is happening to me as well for the last two coils. I've primed it by the youtube video.

It's strange because the first two coils, the crown worked perfectly. Now I've gone through two coils and can't seem to get any taste back. It just taste awful and I'm still gradually priming away hoping it isn't another bad coil.

I have a Siegel 150w tank with Space Jam Pluto. Gradually priming from 30W, 5W at a time.

I just tested one of mine with 100% PG it tasted aweful but it wicked like a champ. PG to me tastes aweful and this tasted exactly as it should but boy did it wick like a champ, he could just have a bad coil but it's definitely NOT the PG.
