Some days .... just goes wrong. There's nothing we can really do about it, but we get through it all. I wanna share how my day was. Lol.

So, I went to work and as usually brought all my tanks with me. The Valyrian 3, Sakerz Master, arbiter2, and my wake RTA.

The coil in my arbiter2 needed a cleaning cause I vape really sweet juice, the cotton still looked great but I got an overwhelming burned taste from coil buildup. Then I couldn't get my wake RTA right. It wouldn't wick properly after I did it like 6 times. (I finally got it just tonight, only after work though.) My 2 week old Valyrian 3 coil started to taste burnt af, so I changed it.... But I made the mistake of cleaning it off with a hand wipey. I figured it would evaporate, and I even wiped down with a paper towel, but It left a residue that tasted like ..., and it contaminated everything. Now I think that coil is shot because of contamination. I'll still try to clean it but.... Yeah. So last. I had my sakerz master. It has a coil that only goes up to 40 watts. After I had all these issues with my other tanks, I switched to it. I forgot to turn the wattage down and gotta nasty ... tasting burnt hit. Lmao. It's actually still totally fine though, still tasted all right when I turned it back down.

Ok. But dang. Even after all the trouble today, I still feel like it's worth it. I still enjoy it. I hate having little inconvenient issues like this in my life... But I love my vape enough to see past it. I fixed my arbiter2 at work, cleaned and re-wicked it. Got home and finally succeeded in fixing my wake's wicking issue. It's fulfilling.

So my day started great though, first place I went after waking up for work was the vape shop. The owners there are awesome men with a passion for vaping. They take the time to help me, teach me, and they're way cooler than all other vape shops I've been to in the way they run things. I swear Ill probably never go to another vape shop. I'd do much rather spend money there and support their business, especially during these times where the vape industry is being attacked and demonized. vaping brought something to all our lives in some way. Nobody can ever take that from us.

If you want to, go ahead and share your own "bad vape day" lol if you've had one.

I was in the process of moving across state and I had packed all my mixed juice, but I had left out 1 and a half 30ml bottles for the trip. Suddenly I couldn't find the half bottle anywhere. Later, I come to realize that my niece had packed it in a box of odds and ends. No worries, a full bottle should last me, except that 1 spill 90% of it. I buy a gas station vape for the drive across the state. When I get to rhe new place, I'm out of cartridges for the gas station vape, so I go into the local convenience store and buy more. It turns out the cartridges are for a different model and don't fit my little kit. I'm not about to spend money on another kit. It's Sunday and all the vape shops are closed. I have to go a full day without, until Monday morning when I drive the 15 miles into the next town to buy juice.

I have driven across state twice. Both times with 2 cats and a dog and an assistant. Once the assistant was my daughter, once it was my baby daddy from a zillion years ago (still friends)
Both times I packed a vape bag, one of those purses with a zillion pockets. After packing day two, the vape bag stayed hidden from anyone else and I would put all "might need items in it"
By the time I was ready to go the vape bags had many ready-to-go RTDA's. 3-4 ADV (tanks and mods) 2-3 sets of charged batteries, a battery charger (4 unit) and 7-8 bottles of juice (I only use DIY) and 2 tanks thata took drop in coils and of course coils for them. This vape bag was always behind my set and came into the hotel room each night at which time I charged all batteries.
I had it down to a science and took almost as much precaution with it as I did with my animals and their meds, homemade meals and supplements to relax

LOL. That would have blowed goats had I done that. I did not always know where everything was on this trip but I did always know where the vape bag was. Without it, everything else would have gone downhill FAST

I once left a setup in a cab, but that was back when I was vaping eGo style mods and the loss wasn't as big a deal as it would have been now. I had about 5-6 more going at the time.

I did the same. I left my set-up, Minikin mod with an RTDA on top of the toilet paper holder in the Burbank airport. Once I realized what I did I went back, some 60 minutes later and it was still there

I had knee replacement surgery last October 1st and had to stay in a rehab place for a month afterwards. Finally I get home and look in my vape-mixing room and there's nothing there! My wife, who hates my vaping, threw away all my vaping devices, flavors, scale, all the coils, everything. I probably had 200 bottles of flavors alone. Yep. I was a little upset. Since then I was given a Sceptre which I am using and found a Voopoo Drag S that she missed. I have a Kroma-z and Coolfire Z80 on order so I am slowly building back up. That was my worst vaping day.

Dang, would she prefer you smoke? We have couples in our apartment complex, and the wife/SO supports the vaping. Y'all need a serious sit down. Ask if she would like if you tossed her things that you do not like.

We have had that talk. I told her she had no right to throw away MY stuff, just like I'd never do that to her.

Not so much a bad vape day, but I think I just got my Friday the 13th dose.

I only vape at home, so got home, inserted batteries, hit off this one, then that one, and ended up a bit distracted I guess with the Serpent SMM on the Aegis Solo.
I was leaning over fiddling with something, mod in hand, and as I sat back up I brought it up for a drag. Did notice that the screen was lit up, but finger in the way and all, meh - shrug - drag...

Hmmm, kinda warmer than a minute ago. Then, Whoa!!! No!No!NO!!!

    99 watts!!! - I had been hitting it at 28 -30.

It was time to rewick this weekend anyway, but sheesh.
Going to check the coil after cleaning to see if it looks hurt, just put it in last wick change.

Anyway, hope all of you have a great weekend! (if that's your thing!)

I had a warning sign with the screen being lit up as it should have been off since my last drag, but figured I had just bumped a button and woke it up.

To be determined if I learned my lesson.

All better now (I think!), new coil and wick. 'twas cotton when that happened, 'tis rayon now - from what I have heard, I do not want a repeat of that event with rayon!

(didn't really want it with cotton either!)

Oh .... lol. I've done something similar to that before when switching tanks without adjusting the voltage. Ew. Pretty nasty hit. Also, hope you're having a good weekend too, thank you!
