I'm wondering if by cooking oil you mean actual oils or whether you're referring to extracts (like vanilla, almond, etc).

If you mean oil: you can burn the everloving crap out of yourself. :)

If you mean extract: the flavors in most baking extracts are about a quarter of the strength of the flavorings used in ecig juices, and are typically in an alcohol-based carrier, plus they have coloring. It'll gunk up most PVs pretty fast, and you just won't get the flavor you're seeking.

If you're new into this, I strongly advise starting out by ordering eliquid/juice from a good vendor, and save experimenting with your own homebrewed concoctions until later. When you DO get around to homebrewing your own stuff, before you even think about starting, spend at least two weeks reading the DIY forums here on ECF and learning how to do it and what you need.

i feel like all the people who are saying no are thinking of cooking oil like canola but i think what the op is asking is if they can use things like these: https://www.lorannoils.com/c-6-super-strength-flavors.aspx in a mix for a juice. Unless the oils that are made by the same company and sold by the DIY stores are made from something different than i would say that YES DEFINITELY these "oils" could be used to flavor a juice.

What part of "no don't do it" do you not understand. LA flavors that contain oil (cinnamon oil etc) are for cooking not vaping. Vaping an oil will coat your lungs and you will die slowly. There IS a difference between ingesting oil through you digestive system and ingesting oil into your lungs.

OIC now there are some that do contain oil kind of confusing in that lorann calls them all "oil"
"Our super strength flavors, also known as candy oils or candy flavors, are not oil-based and contain no vegetable oil the term "candy oil" refers to a type of flavor that is concentrated and undiluted."

Simple answer, no, don't do it.

Thank you. I am adamant because this is a newbie thread and sometimes they don't bother to slow down and read ALL the answers and instead take to heart the one answer that has what they want to see. No disrespect intended because I was guilty of skimming answers when I first started out and it was very expensive because I didn't read the fine print. Also because "oil" can certainly mean different things to different people. Not having anyone suffer dire consequenses is my reason for the post.
