I have been following the forum since starting gaping in Nov 13 and quitting a 40 cigs a day, 25 years habit. It is my first post but I though this was worth sharing, today my eyes wandered to my bottle of Colgate Total Advanced Pro-shield (don't ask what I was doing at the time) and read the following:

INACTIVE INGREDIENTS: water, glycerin, propylene glycol, sorbitol, poloxamer 407, flavor (and 6 others)

Holy .... ! Colgate is selling us untested, potentially harmful chemicals to put in our mouths! I am sure we cannot predict the unthinkable adverse effects that a 3 times a day mouth rinsing habit may have after 20 years of continued use.

Not just that, but the words "PEPPERMINT BLAST" are prominently displayed in the front label. I am now worried mouthwash may attract underage users and serve as a gateway to e-cigs that will then serve as a gateway to smoking, a known gateway to (OTHER STUFF) smoking, that will also in turn lead to a (OTHER STUFF) habit (EDITED)

We need to stop these greedy mouthwash manufacturers before it is too late.

PG and VG are present in the majority of toiletry products that I use. Soaps, deodorants, hair products, etc. It's generally accepted that topical use (as directed) of these products is perfectly safe.

I dearly loved this post! With all the hype about enticing kids and is it safe this completely made my day!

I have personally vaped tooth paste and mouthwash...
It didn't hurt me but it wasn't pretty.

Please rephrase your post into something like "I have conducted numerous rigorous tests in a laboratory controlled environment about the effects of mouthwash and toothpaste in human health, the in depth analysis of the statistically significant results allows me to drive the conclusion that mouthwash might adversely affect your mental health with a degree of confidence of 99.7%"

Not true, but you can get a job as a political expert advisor....

Good find and funny, What's even funnier is the FDA Approved it for use. Not what legs do they have to stand on, I think those Twiggy little legs are crumbling.
