Bananas Foster Steep?

I was wondering how long it takes for bananas foster to steep? I ordered it on the 5th, and I'm pretty sure it was mixed on the 7th or 8th. I still am only tasting banana - no rum, cinnamon, or caramel.. nothing, really, but bananas.
